Re: David Haye v Jean Marc-Mormeck RBR - World Crusierweight Titles
YES i did piss my pants a little ;D
Gonna call Adam Booth soon and send my regards for both of them.
Haye at Heavy excites me and he is Huge at the bigger weight and hits even harder.
Ask Bonin ;)
I think he could mix it with ANT Heavy at present as he's a skilled fighter and was a top drawer Amateur too so he has the skills.
I think with his speed and footwork he can be a real force at Heavy and i also think he'd murder Enzo at the weight too.
Nice to see a new British Heavy on the scene and he can light the division up single handedly and really inject some Charisma and Coolness to the division.
The Heavies are crying out for Haye.
All in All British boxing is right back where it should be and if Hatton can pull it off (i think PBF will totally own him by the way as Ricky just boxes one way and is tailor made for him-my heart screams Hatton but my wise old (ish) head see's Floyd enjoying the beatdown and toying with him) IF Hatton does then British boxing will be at it's peak.
F*ck History because if Hatton does pull it off then we simply have never had it Sooooo good!!
HAYE CANNOT GET DOWN TO CRUISER (It kills him) which is why he's given up the 2 belts already.

First off I agree with Fenster that Enzo probably shouldn't have been the pundit in the studio for the Haye fight, because instead of lots of post-fight analysis, there was a lot of discussion about a potential Enzo v Haye fight, which I don't see happening unless its at a catchweight. Haye is a natural heavyweight burnt down to cruiserweight, whilst Enzo is a natural cruiserweight a few stones lighter than Haye. So at heavyweight I agree that Haye would have a huge advantage and probably beat Enzo if it were happening in two or three months....maybe in a few years.
Haye at heavy....I'm sure he can get into the mix with the current title holders, but keep him away from Wlad for a while I think, cause he's certainly the toughest HW out there at the moment for my money.

That was really poor. Enzo looked GUTTED that Haye won (understandable, I guess).
Enzo even had to cheek to announce he'd signed twice to fight Haye in the past but Haye didn't want to know... This is before Haye fights the TOP MAN in the division in his backyard. Then him, and that dope Buncey, focusing on Haye's bad points...guess it's quite funny really ;D
Haye even gave Enzo respect by calling him a "good fighter."

Well, at the moment Setanta is the Frank Warren boxing broadcaster so it would have been better overall if this one would have been screened by sky...I'm sure Haye won't have been too happy that Setanta got the rights, but he'll be gutted that Sky didn't care enough.

We have a new era in boxing. ;D
Re: David Haye v Jean Marc-Mormeck RBR - World Crusierweight Titles
Seriously impressed with Haye on Sat. That was a big ask him going over to Mormecks backyard. For a few years Ive been trying to find a quote that Chris Eubank used called 'The killing time' Basically the gist is that in a fight a moment will arise in which the fight can be won or lost, doesnt matter who creates the moment, the one who recognises it is the one who can go on to win the fight.
Thats what happened Saturday. Mormeck appeared to be the boss but in an instant Haye recognised that the fight could be over and he went for it, as he does.
That final shot was really violent, in the neck pretty much.
Like everyone else I feared the worst when he went over in the fourth. Haye showed a serious set of stones to come back like that.
It wont get the attention of Calzaghe or Hatton but that was a superb win.
I fell asleep and missed Cotto Mosley. I dont care though, as ever Haye gave value for money.

Well put mate and it showed balls going to France and doing that!
He said he'd do a "Honeyghan" and go abroad and take it and he did just that!
Was in the paper today saying he had to lose 2 stone and never had a proper meal in 17 weeks just to make the weight :o
Bring on the Heavies ;)
No doubt in my mind AT ALL that he can bring home a world title O0
Brilliant victory and yeah that KO was brutal...Mormeck was f*cked after that one to the neck and i didn't even think he'd beat the count. ;D
Re: David Haye v Jean Marc-Mormeck RBR - World Crusierweight Titles
I only got to see all the fights last night (dvd recording).
Haye did very well considering Mormeck only wanted to fight once he had Haye on the ropes (which appeared to be happening all too easliy).
Haye didnt look so sharp (although he was strong). Im almost certan he'd be STRONGER up at Heavyweight.
Terrible defence though. Nevermind 'questionable chin'. He is a brave lad and took enough whacks... just too leaky (against the ropes). He showed decent lateral movement, i hope he can utilize that more (he'll need it).
Haye did very well to find spots for his body shots (or any shots for that matter). I like the way he can do it going backwards too. Never realised that about Haye.
I wanna see Haye up at Heavyweight fighting all the sub 230's. He'll do very well.
