Fuck that. Fuck that I feel so bad for Spinks, he did his best to make it a fun fight and the fight I watched Spinks won. That's what I thought. Maybe I'm wrong but I don't see how you give Phillips 7 rounds no matter what you're scoring for.
im tellingu the judges need t.vs they can watch every angle of the fight instead of trying to see at a difficult view
I missed the first 4 rounds, but thought Spinks generally handled what i did see.

Nah man... I always root against Spinks and wanted Verno to pull this off, but there's no way he deserved the nod. He certainly landed the bigger punchs but the ones that really affected Spinks were too few and far between. Bad decision to say the least.Quote:

I got no problem with those cards, good judges. Verno had the harder shots by far. Did anyone else wanna punch Sheridan after about the 4th and he keeps giving every round to Spinks...yeah its not the fight you saw, because I watched as he repeatedly said just gobbled up those shots, and his conditioning lets him take those shots, shut the fuck up he got rocked. Not the fairest of commentator that Sheridan...but I still like him when he get's all excited.
Spinks definitely slowed down, he always does but looking back on the notes I took during the fight, I mean theres just no way Phillips won. Maybe his shots were louder but the only time he could land was when he jumped with the right. He didn't hurt Spinks except maybe in the 7th at the end there with about 10 seconds left. Other then that, it was nothing more then one punch at a time for Phillips. Unbelievable to me.
2008 really is year of the upset!
