What color are most gondolas in Venice painted?
black
What is Venice exactly built on.
Wood, you give us a touch more detail on the type of wood.
Yeah that'll do. Woods good.
When in Venice once I asked a local and they said its on an old oak forest.
But reading in Wicki just then, it says Slovenian alder trees were bought in. :-\
Next question Sheep.
Who was the first man documented to calculate correctly the circumference of the earth?
I'm signing off for the night. It'll be a bit til I can verify the answers.
Cicumfernicus? Lol I don't know maybe copernicus
It was a Greek mathematician someone like Pythagoras.
Professor John Nash.
Ha, not heard that, its called leap year here.;D
Leap day :happy0931sb4:
Did you know we do not get paid on leap day? :(
At 24 hours I'm assuming no one is going to get this one, and I'll stay away from the math/science stuff with the next question.

Whats the minimum amount of times you need to hit a tennis ball to win a five set match?
36
I see where you are coming from, but incorrect.
One. For the match to start, and for it to count as a win, it must have at least on shot played? Then the opposition can withdraw through injury...
Must be some sort of trick question like that.
New question? ;D
I'm not sure of the rules on doubles...assuming it is they have to serve alternately, then 18? Sod it, I'll give myself a little wiggle room and also throw in 17 and 19.
I was told it was 12 but I reckon its 16.
You win 6-0 6-0 6-0, every game you dont serve you win without having to hit a ball, double faults, partner hits winner.
Your service games are won to love so 4 shots a piece.
I dont think you can win 3 sets on the bounce only having one service game in each so I dont reckon 12 is right, I think you've got to serve twice in the middle set making it 16.
Now that was all very straight forward wasnt it ;D
Come on heavy what's the next question
