Not only that but series of punches that Morales lands on PAC before the final knockdown, shet!!! Pacquiao shook them off and continued punching..... I thought surely, PAC would stagger but no he kinda stepped back but then threw his punches.....
A fight with MAB, would be interesting. Would MAB try to outbox PAC or would he go into the mouth of the lion and go toe to toe?
Very interesting match up, IMO but I personally would rather see JMM vs. MAB..... IMO better matchup style wise.....
Erik is a class act mate no doubt... just past his best ;)
JMM vs. MAB why hasnt this fight happened already... not slating anyone just wondering ???
Come on mate don't tell me you didn't read and or hear about this.....
Before the MAB vs. NAZ fight unvailed JMM offered to fight NAZ and NAZ turned it down. JMM then turned around and offered to fight MAB and MAB also turned down the fight....
The IBO belt was vacant at that time and JMM had been accepted to fight for the title..... JMM has just had bad magnmt. and bad luck.... I mean whens the last time a fight has been on again off again 3 times??????
I think that was reversed. JMM did offer Naz a bunch of opportunities and Naz turned them down, but Naz offered JMM a fight before the Barerra one and JMM turned him down.
Thats the story I read in a boxing magazine in an article called "Juan Manuel Marquez: The Avoided One"
Re: Just another one of Wacko's Drunken Round by Rounds : Pacquiao Morales III
I just read a classic line by Johny Benz..
"The Pacman who showed up had a lite wick up his ass and Dynamite in his fists. He saturated Morales with TNT."
priceless... ;D

Plenty of time . It will happen in 07 when Barrera wants it . He calls the shots

looks ok to me before he tasted the power :) ...
Nah he looked far better against Hamed and he started focused in that 1 . Againt Pac he came out lazy . Much like Lewis -Rahman but flukes happen in boxing and they get corrected in the rematch ;)

yeah that first round was a hell of a lesson ;D
Are you suggesting that Pac should have won based on the 1st round . What about the following 11 . Surely you know that Pac got outboxed in that fight

I suppose time will tell . What im saying is Pac wasnt beating a prime Marco that night . Manny went on to get outboxed by Marquez and Morales , two inferior Mexicans so how could he beat the best Mexican ? cuz Barrera wasnt focused that night thats why .
We can go round and round in circles but all that matters is the rematch . Im saying Barrera UD . You can go and put all ya life savings on Pac if you are so sure the 1st 1 wasnt a fluke

what ever happens don't put your life savings on Barrera mate ;)
Barrera met Manny at Super Bantamweight and in the last 3 years Pac has carried his power and settled nicely into a Featherweight.
Re: Just another one of Wacko's Drunken Round by Rounds : Pacquiao Morales III
I am a big EM fan and am very surprised that he lost the way he did. But big PROPS to Pac for what he did. He proved that he is on a different level than the current Morales. Surprised that it happened as soon as it did. I always knew that if it ended early it would be Pac and if it went the distance it would be EM.
As far as Pac-vs-MAB I think I would slightly favor Pac. MAB is a GOAT, but styles make fights and I think Pac has the style to beat MAB again. Pac is no longer one dimensional and has improved his arsenal, which only makes him more dangerous.
Re: Just another one of Wacko's Drunken Round by Rounds : Pacquiao Morales III
GAME youre saying barrera is past his prime when pac beat him
so how come he's gonna win against a prime pac when hes shot 3 years ago?
and your making an excuse that he came unprepared for that fight
should this be an excuse? or a compliment? YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF IT
i thought fighters who slack-off were hated?
:puke:_________ mab
and man pac is no naz
speed and style and pressure and power and heart and INTIMIDATION
if i have to choose between EM and MAB on who fears pac
then it has to be barrera, the guy cant even call him out even after post fight
interviews he always says "i'll do whatever my promoter oscar dela hoya wants me to do"
i thought hes badass ??? hes a fwockin coward
great fighters always rise to the occassion when they face adversities
it happens most of the time when they're against lesser opponents
and pac is no less opponent especially NOW
and btw, EM has a much stronger chin than your man barrera

You gotta be kidding calling MAB a coward. Please. He's a true warrior in the great Mexican tradition. The rematch is going to be made now that Pac has finished off EM, just like the rematch got made with Juarez when that left a bad taste in peoples' mouths. Just like the trilogy got made with EM. And you might have noticed that when Larry Merchant asked Pac what was next he said "I'll do whatever my promotion company tells me to do." Doesn't make him a coward either. MAB, EM, Pac--none of these guys are cowards. But just so you're straight on this: MAB's also not the one who looked at his daddy and said "no mas" in the third round.

Yeah, like when MAB rose to the occasion 2 out of 3 against a certain lesser fellow mexican fighter from tijuana.

Uh.... I guarantee you that no matter what happens, Pac ain't KO'ing MAB in three rounds. Believe that.

Agreed...100%.
Being a Barrera fan I can honestly say that he should run like hell.
I would like to see Pac Marquez II though.

Maybe im being blind but from what I can see Pac has to prove it against Guzman,Barrios etc not a guy coming off 3 out of 4 losses .
You suffer from what many boxing fans ail from...no one's good enough. There will always be someone else out there to beat the man...& that's bullshit...but everyone is entitled to an opinion.
Morales wasn't faded so badly that he couldnt beat him the first time...& that's that. Barrera nor Marquez weren't faded either. Pac is already in the upper eshelon now...Guzman & Barrios are just new names.Manny still hsto iron some thn

Look at the difference in the two Rocky fights . Metal plate , weight draining, socks etc . Doesnt matter what excuses you use Barrera will put it right next time. Pac is a furious fighter and Erik played right into his hands this morning . Lets see what happens in the Barrera rematch eh . There have been bigger shocks
Your'e blind babe. Bottom line. You make assumptions about me off of one post & quite often you do it one opinion at the time. I am not a PacFan...but I do recognize his abiliites & what he's doing, done, & will do. Barrera is one of my all time favorites....but I truly believe that Pac has his number...if Juarez can get that close to a win...Barrera get's gobbled up by Manny a second time. That doesn't make me less of a fan...just realistic.

i wouldnt bet my life savings because anything can happen like lucky punch but 1 st fight wasnt a fluke he dominated barrera a fluke is when ur ahead by about 8 rounds and u get hit with lucky punch and ur counted out thats a fluke not dominating ur opponent forcing the corner to stop the fight and same as wacko im not big pac fan but im liking him more and more now with his excellent skills and ect dont get me wrong i like barrera i gave him alot of props for beating naz

What ever you people say it is clear if anyone wants to prove he's the best fighter in the 130 pounds class they must go through pacman.
all road in the 130 pounds weight class leads to pacman.
