OK guys, I'm gonna have to call it a night for this one, I'm in work in 6 hours, and I'll be glad I didn't drink tonight. Anyhow, I'll fall on my sword, I really didn't think Haye would get through the Maccarinelli guard, and he just wasn't careful enough. Haye's got the big bucks coming his way in the heavies. Maccarinelli.....I don't know. There still aren't that many cruisers there....but who knows if he can recover a second time.

I'd like to see Haye v Herbie Hide. Two guys of similiar size with massive power and suspect chins. Would be fun to watch.

I have a feeling Hayes HW career may be like Hides. He will beat the majority early but will stumble agianst the giants like Wlad.
Hope im wrong tho cos performances like this are awesome to watch and he'd be great for the sport.

Well, we knew it could end like that, but even that did not prepare me for how it would look played out in real time...

Awesome Haye doing everything perfectly right, & you could not fault the guys attitude or performance at all ...:rocks:

How Enzo didn't hit the deck before he did was amazing enough, particularly with one right hander that he'd shipped that sounded like he'd been hit with a cricket bat or it's equal ... It bloody hurt me as I sat at home watching it...:fight:

But not to take a single thing away from Haye....and I really do mean that too,BUT..... ???

Elementary mistakes by Enzo anyone ... defense a bit too loose, too upright & hanging his chin out (Which we know he can be prone to sometimes, yet you would have thought, A--ARRRRRR ... not with Haye as his chief chin tester for the evening), and for me at least .. well I expected a little more mobility & discipline from Enzo ....

Just got back from the fight! Was over all too quick but hey we expected that! Props to Haye, he did his thing..and as fickle as this sounds I instantly warmed to him when I saw the flag on one side of his trunks...He was representing North Cyprus to the max which is where my roots lie. I know he trains out there but I wonder what else made him put the flag on his trunks..I did foolishly put a bet on Enzo to take him out between rounds 6-9 though :-\ odds were too good and I had a fiver left in my skybet account back from De La Hoya Mayweather.
