The mythology of the show is neck deep & you youngins need to back up & start from the very start...head to the Dharma websites & do some research on the Degroots & all of their research.
The idea of Sawyer being Locke's pop is plausible...but I'd almost lean more towards him being the man that ruined Sawyer's life instead.
Here's the thing though that no one is latching on to...the Dharma Initiative & Alvar Hanso were all wrapped up in experiments in life extention & also time travel & bending the space time continuum.
I'm still curious as to what the incident was that caused Marvin Candle to lose his arm & also pushed everything to turn upside down on the Island...had to be "the magical box" which has got to be something involving the time continuum.
I can't wait to see who get's whacked next Wednesday. I hope it's Paulo.

ay magic box? for me that is one of the biggest head blaggs in lost. the magic box and the whole desmond time travel thing aswell. but i really get the impression that we are on the road to getting some answers now.
ive heard rumors that we will be gettin episodes with flashbacks of that new sexy bitch so happy times.

That was a huge let down of an epsiode after 2 ABSOLUTE barn burners! I don't understand,what was the purprose of introducing Paolo and Nikki and then to go and kill them. Yes the epsiode had a few neat touches like how they died,and how they have always been around in the background but what else? Unless there is some way of linking this epsiode to another somewhere down the line,I was REALLY disappointed.
Am I missing something? Why introduce them to kill them?

I don't know,the epsisode made me ask more questions:
* Why did Paulo and Nikki apparently not tell anyone about the Beechcraft plane or The Pearl exterior?
* Why did Paulo not tell anyone about the conversation between Ben and Juliet he overheard inside the Pearl?
* Did Paulo ever communicate with The Others via the walkie-talkie?
* What was the significance of the "monster-like" sounds before the spiders attacked?
* Why did Ben and Juliet not stay in the The Pearl longer?
* Why did Paulo wait 16 days after finding the diamonds before trying to hide them?
* Why did Nikki decide to join the A-mission to the The Pearl?
* Why did Paulo decide to retrieve the diamonds from their hiding place in the The Pearl, since it is unlikely anyone would find them there?
* Does the conversation between Ben and Juliet indicate that Kate and Sawyer were only kidnapped to emotionally manipulate Jack? And how does that relate to Jacob's list and Ben's agenda? (i.e. Shephard was not on the list, but he's the one Ben really wanted.)
* Why was Paulo's beard so long at the time of the crash?
* How did Paulo get out of the Pearl Station after Ben and Juliet left? They probably closed the hatch from outside, Ben was upset that the hatch was open when they got there.

got some answers for some of ur Q's but drunk right now lol yeah the episode pissed me off a bit too - i was expecting one of them to wake up before the filled tho hole in - leading to more of a role from them and making this episode of value, but its surly means they got berid alive and are now 'dead' making this a pointless episode apart from the dialog between benn and juliet?

Season 3 episode 15
Well well, the fog returns but the big question of tgus episode is...
Was jack in on the gassing? Watch them get ready Juliet is putting a mask on, she had a key and knew that their 'wall' was off and would also keep the fog out. There was no doubt they knew kate would go back for jack and that Jack would take Juliet back to the camp.
So Juliet is being sent there as some what of a spy no doubt. Thye don't have a doctor and benn made it clear he wnated Jack to stay, so why fuck off and leave him there? Simple, he knew that he would take Juliet back to the camp as he wanted her to be sent there and she knows whats going on. Is Jack in on this? well he was out for a very long time compared to kate and Juliet, but this is just fication after all:p atm im 80% he odon't know (excuse the pun) jack, but 20% they have talked him into something.
After all bennw as very cleaver in working his promie to jack that kate and syiade (sp) would be set free WHEN jack was sent home... as he knew john was gunna blow the sub up by then meaing he wasn't leaving anytime soon. So has he convinced jack to go along with this and take Juliet back to the camp?
Next week we seem to learn more about Juliet and how she got there etc.. should explain alot :o

well fookin hell, the latest episode, i dont know where to start?????????? i was lovin it cos we were getting answers thick and fast. i was getting overloaded with answers and after watchin that episode im gagging for the next.
preme looks like you were right mate. about juliet goin back to the beach as some sort of spy. but i wonder what is happening in a week????
and the others are looking more and more like good guys the more we learn about em. but i dont know why ben was so offended about being called a liar because when got captured by jack and the rest of the gang he lied his bollocks off the whole time so i still dont like him. even if what he is doing on the island is for the greater good.

Sorry guys,been really busy!" Some awesome episodes,this latest one was superb! Julie is being manipulative and Jack has turned into a bitch!! What will the group do when they find out Jack has been protecting her for no reason?! Also,THE BEST PART OF THE EHOLE EPISODE:THE LEADER OF THE OTHERS,THE MAGNIFICENT MAN THEY KEEP REFERRING TO...IS CALLED JACOB!!!
Did you guys see Ben's face light up when he said to Julie Jacob said he would do it himself! Isn't Jacob like a biblical reference? And remember in the episode Sawyer and Kate saved that dude and they went into a room where he was strapped to a chair?? When Sawyer and Kate saved him,he kept repeating the word" God loves you as he loved Jacob"> Does this guy brainwash them?>? Who is he?>
And the BUTTON WAS DEFINITELY REAL!! Desmond didn't press the button,the plane crashes,Ben sends spies and compiles info on the survivors using Mikael,who was like a technical wozard and somehow managed to have contact with the outside world! However,now he is dead and the explosion at the end of season 2 sems to have destroyed their communication capabilities,how do they stay in contact with the outside world?>
Also,who are the Mittelos company Julie worked for? How are they linked to the Dhrma Initiative? Maybe an off shoot group?>

And isn't Ben the most manipulative,intelligent character ever? He can use ANYONE for whichever purpose he sees fit! Look at how he planned Julie's foray in the the camp! I also like the ending,Julie was tying that rope,showing unity,then she double knotted it,i.e showing that she double crosed the group!
Oh and how the hell did they get a chip or whatever it is inside Claire?They activated it!!!??? And why can't women have babies on the island? Is Sun going to die??

i know mate. why dont they ask jack what happened? if i was there though i would be pestering juliet about what she knows. but no one seeme to give a shit though do they. and do you guys realise that was episode 17? and with only about 24 in the season we havent really got many left, so hopefully we'll get an episode with some ben flashbacks which would defo fill in some blanks.
p.s. i was loving the little bra and panties flash we got from kate ;D thought she had no top on for a sec with that flesh colored bra. but i swear she was wearing the same undies months ago?

Yeah i thought she had the twins out to for a second and noticed she had that bra numerous times; TBh though i think its their attention to detail that makes this show... A skin colord bra is something people notice and remindes us how detaild they are on this, mainly why so many spend time debating the ins and out of the show..
