Wow, there's a shocker :shakehead:
....Well it's Memorial Day weekend now so I reckon I'll counteract your pinko commie bullshit with THE DUKE, a whole weekend full of John Wayne killing the people you love Kirkland, The Krauts, The Japs, and not takin any crap off a no God Damn Commies! ;D
His real name was Marion. At a time when American actors all went to fight in the Second World War, Marion dodged the draft and hid in Hollywood. He was a drug addict and an alcoholic. He wasn't a real hero, he just played one in the movies. He was a big poofy boy.

I saw Taken in the theater when it came out, but we decided to rent it again last night so my fiances parents could watch it. I think that movie is great. It keeps you right on the edge of you seat pretty much the whole movie.

its the hottest day of the year & i went & sat in the dark & watched night at the museum 2 (promised my daughter would take her to see it) i thought it was ok, but find i enjoy all films when watchin with my daughter, prob cos i can steal her popcorn ;D
thing that seriously annoyed me was that we were watchin a kids film & they had a trailer for terminator salvation then believe it or not a trailer for scarface & for the thing. these shit my daughter up as she is only 5 yrs old all the kids in cinema were scared, after the film i complaned to the manager & he said that the guy in charge of the projector must of put the wrong one on, i am still awaiting for a phone call from them to aplogise:mad: it was bang outta order i mean i cant remember wot cert the film is (prob PG) but its so inapropriate:mad:

That's bullshit man, I don't blame you for being pissed. Don't let them brush you off, call the president, do whatever you have to do. Make some noise.
p.s. that really sucks that the manager blames the little guy. A company is supposed to be a team, present a common front to the public. A good manager does not blame one of his employees for a fuckup when he's dealing with a customer. He says "I'm very sorry sir, and I will do my utmost to ensure it doesn't happen again".
rraarrrggghhhh.

I know his real name and the reason it doesn't bother me because his whole attitude and character was just copying Great American Patriot, HOF baseball player and ACE fighter pilot in WWII and Korea Ted Williams.
Also if Wayne didn't make those films somebody else would have. And surely YOU can't say much about drug addicts there Hashcake McGee...it's only against the law because of the faux religious/big government Nanny Staters(such as yourself) blamed the blacks, hispanics, and asians for increase crime and debauchery

High plains drifter. Eastwood.
First scene: Clint rides into town ,some chick wants to meet him, literally bumps into him and starts to tear strips off him verbally, he just grabs her and drags her into a hay shed and for lack of a better word rapes her into loving submission !!!
Got a week of Eastwood on pay tv cant help but re watch them.

re: last movie you watched (Flag Up SPOILERS)
Watched Revolutionary Road last night, it has Leonardo Dicaprio and Kate Winslet in it. Its extremely slow movie, I really was not impressed at all. I was hoping for more. I was gonna rent Defiance but decided to get this one, big mistake I think anyone. Anyone seen Defiance yet, I'm curious to know how it is.
-
re: last movie you watched (Flag Up SPOILERS)
I just rented Defiance last night, it is was worth the watch. I remember watching a neat documentary on the history channel years ago about what happened there, and thought to myself that this would make for a good movie. It's a surprise that so many of them banded together and survived in the woods, when the Nazi's declared open season on all Jews with the Holocaust. The acting was okay, and although there wasn't enough action to make it an action flick, it had enough of a story about those people's struggle to make it entertaining enough to watch.

watched sex drive was an unrated directors cut version, it was bloody hilarious didnt expect much from it but me & the mrs pissed ourselves all the way thru it, & the guy who plays cyclops outta x-men plays the big brother in it & he was piss funny.
below is a link to a trailer from it
IMDb Video: Sex Drive: Theatrical Trailer
i would give it 9 outta 10 for a comedy

It's an cover from a famous cult classic album. Trout Mask Replica by Captain Beefheart, Andre will tell you, it's pretty "out there".
It's a picture of a fish sitting on a guy's shoulder in place of a head. But it ain't a trout.

"LIttle Britain" it is supposed to be a funny mini series and that.

re: last movie you watched (Flag Up SPOILERS)
They have shown Rocky 5 about 10 times this year. And a number of the other Rocky films too many times. Must have some kind of deal going or something. I watched half of it again this afternoon. There are some good points to it but it could have been a lot better.
I really like the first two Rocky films a lot. I think they have a lot going for them. Three and four are watchable but it's real fluff story wise and just bumped up fight scenes. Five tries to tell the story again but it doesn't quite do it really.

re: last movie you watched (Flag Up SPOILERS)
Watched "New In Town" last night with the fiance. Wasn't the worst but sure is hell wasn't the best movie I have seen. Its totally a chick flick, which some of them I don't mind.
-
re: last movie you watched (Flag Up SPOILERS)
I watched "Drag me to hell" last night with a girlfriend. It was her choice of film and she soon regetted watching it cause she kepted on jumping out of her seat in the cinema:o.I could'nt stop laughing at her everytime she jumped,it was soo funny;D.This film is great fun it really is.It has everything that i like about scary movies. Its a kind of scary/fun movie. There was a few really good scenes that brought back good scary memories of "Evil Dead1" which were great fun. This film is a must see at the big screens with a lady friend. There's plenty of wacky gore.Best fun/scary film i've seen at the cinema for a very long time and i love me horror movies.I'd give this a 8 out of 10:D
