Just another one of Wacko's Drunken Round by Rounds Hatton vs Urango

Still...very impressed. Thing is...Urango is doing a hell of a job as to what I thought. The score cards will be lop sided...but he's done himself pround as has Ricky. I am impressed with both.

Ricky "the Hitman" Hatton (41 fights with 30 ko's & 0 losses) vs Juan Urango (17 wins with 13ko's, 1 draw, & 0 losses) Round 10: Hattons corner said to tie up. Hatton & Urango hook each other at teh same time but Urango hurt Hatton....hell they hurt each other. They then rip each other again. Left 7 then right hook for Hatton dead on the button. Urango eats another hook but takes the power. Hatton comes alive & flurries. Urango, bless him, is just looking for that one punch. Every time he jabs Hatton clocks him. Upper by Hatton & Urango cracks him & he almost falls. Big left by Hatton. Urango looks like he's just to discouraged to take the effort. Shoulder to shoulder & he swings at the bell...that's it.

Hatton's got this in the bag.

i am not particulary impressed by hatton. im fairly buzzed and sometimes when Im drunk I am more easy to impress, but this time is not one of them. I wish someone had trained urango better. he could have been close to giving hatton some trouble. the fact that urango is lacking in skill and is showing signs of being able to give hatton trouble is not good for hatton.

Hatton is certainly winning, but in my opinion he's winning more on quantity than quality, and that does not bode well for when he faces elite opponents.

Yeah, Ricky's style is one of my least favourite to watch.

Out of all of Tszyu's fights (that made it past the first 3 rounds), the one vs Ricky was hardest to watch. Not because KT lost, because i really enjoyed him vs Cool Vince. But Hatton's style is just so frustrating to watch with the excess holding. Not to mention the fouls.

He seems a great guy outside the ring, and has tremendous heart and workrate...but i just can't warm to his style. ???

Not what you'd call a vintage performance from Ricky but then it didn't have to be. Urango didn't bring anything at all to the party.

Left hook from Urango. Uragno cracks him with a left. They are in it now. Hatton rocks him. Urango wants the knockout. 1-2 from Ricky. Urango cracks him. Hatton falls through the ropes. He's getting tired. Urago crcks him & hurts him. Hatton fires back!!!! Hatton holding on. Urango hurt him. That was ugly...but Urango did good...Hatton did good too. That was great.

Hatton holding again. Body work by Hatton. Ricky clocks him & Urango clocks him back. Left by Hatton. Right by Urango. CLench by Hatton. Hatton holding on. He's holding Urango to the ropes.

Hatton won...but I honestly think Urango could have stopped him...& that's saying a lot....what is up with these low grade fighters stepping up & showing out at the right moments?

Seriuosly...he had his game face on & he showed out. He boxed better than ever & he almost clocked Hatton several times. Ole Rick was holding on for dear life.
