Wlad vs Haye fight thread - lets score it!

klit didn't land shit and didn't impress me at all. he was almost as scared as haye!
even a clown would look impressive over a win with a retard.

what i dont get is that punch from haye that cut klit. it was looking ugly at first. i woulda had target prac on that mofo after opening klit up like that. what a dumbass haye was for not following up right there and attacking that cut.

i don't get why people keep saying Wlad was there for the taking, i mean Haye landed a couple solid blows on the guys beard and he took ALL of them well, the last round was the only shot that shook him up a bit and he wasn't all that hurt, his knees didn't even buckle and don't say he held on for his dear life because Wlad clinches even in fights he's dominating, IMO no way in hell Haye ever beats Wlad, if he would have been more aggressive he would have just gotten himself KO'd cause IMHO Wlad hurt Haye more often and worse than David ever hurt Wlad

Surprisingly I dont think either of them were hurt much at anytime.

Also I think the safest you ever are with Wlad is if your throwing so being more agressive doesnt automatically = getting stopped. Of course if you expend a lot of energy and slow then yes your going to become prime Wlad fodder standing still not puncing.

The fight went pretty much as I expected, except I was surprised that Haye wasn't knocked out, that's about the only thing I can think of, to give Haye any credit for.

I could make a pretty good case for Haye not winning a single round, so I don't get where some folks are saying this was a good performance by Haye. Please define a good performance for me, if being dominated and losing a lopsided decision somehow indicates a good performance, I must be missing something. Could this just be dry British humor? ;)

Ring, I scored 2 rounds for Haye. I thought Haye fought scared. Why? Because when he did land a shot he didn't follow up. And I don't want to hear about a toe. The toe didn't stop him from throwing the right hand shot that landed. It sure didn't stop him from then moving away (which he did) rather than moving forward or to the side to follow-up.

Brits in the crowd (and Lampley) got excited by punches thrown by Haye that didn't land.

Haye landed 57 punches in 12 rounds and people call it a good performance. LOL.

Wlad should have listened to Manny. He should have thrown the check left hook more. It is a good punch for him and it landed consistently when thrown.

True, and Wlad kept backing Haye into the ropes but then not letting his hands go. Imagine how devestating/effective Wlad could be if he knew how to throw a 4-5 punch combination or doubled up on that left hook.

I think he gets points for selling himself and creating a mystic, hype etc. More of a curiosity with potential and had a new car smell fresh off the sales lot....but when the chips were down he hit the Highway and was more of a gloified colorful Ice Cream truck doing 50 mph in the fastlane.

To be honest, with Wlad's past chin issues, and all of Haye's hype, I had some doubts about the outcome prior to the fight, I shouldn't have been concerned. So Haye lands a decent shot or 2 on Wlad during the fight and finishes the fight on his feet, that's about like winning a race in the Special Olympics, yeah, you won the race, but guess what, you're still retarded.
