Cotto vs Margarito - the rematch - Saturday night chat/fight thread

Cotto is also not going to the body, something Mosley used to ruin Margarito.

Boy Cotto is really trying to stay in ring center.

To use a stale old cliche, Cotto isn't fighting to win, he's fighting not to lose.

The seventh round is where the last fight REALLY turned.

Cotto in a shutout, but it is still a race to the finish line.

Cotto is on his bike and holding more to buy time, but his jaw is loose and getting tired.

I know I'm ragging on him a lot considering he might be pitching a shut out, but Cotto's nervous movement reminds me of Jermaine Taylor right now.

Cotto's really annoying me. Fight. Stand your ground and use your shorter shots. Go to the body. Hold at times if you need to. He could do it, I'm sure of it.

I was just trying to imagine how negative you'd be if Cotto actually lost a round.

I haven't seen the 1st fight for a long time, but i think Cotto has took alot less damage.

Cotto is doing well, but Margarito keeps coming, hopefully Miguel can keep this up...

Cotto is in MUCH better shape after seven rounds than in their first fight.

Maybe Cotto CAN do this for twelve rounds.

I have him winning every round, but the last two were close.

It's just frustrating watching him fight scared and use the same gameplan that got him knocked out last time.

I'm always more critical of fighters I like.

Cotto is such a bitch throwing so clearly after the bell. Margarito's eye is done though.
