Stand up Guys - What a fucken waste of time. I only saw half of it and that's because I kept thinking it was gonna get better. Honestly don't bother. Chris Walken & Pacino should give the money back they made from this film. The writer of this movie needs to be shot in the dick. :-\
Life of Pi - A really good film... A little on the long side but good nonetheless.
Premiun Rush - It's a good one time watch. I enjoyed the pace of the film and the story was different from anything else I have seen.
Warm Bodies - You should wait until it hits the net or DVD. It's a good movie but not theatre going material.
Haven't watched anything since we got the old man home lastweek. He kept yammering on about being behind in movies so what do we sit and watch...Hell in the Pacific and Damnation Alley ;D ones he's watched over 20 times but hey.
My nephew was telling me about Life of Pi, but I just can't do it. I saw an interview with the director and behind the scenes with tons of CGI etc. I can never look at a movie the same once they reveal all of the process and expose the scenes. It's like 'knowing' a voice in an animation...I just picture the actor standing behind a mic reading :-\
Just because it was late and on the TV the other night. Its a film I like. Plus it goes back to the day when most stunts were done by stunt men or the actors them selfs. None of the modern CGI.
True Lies with Arnold Schwarzenegger
I watched The Avengers the other night and nearly died laughing at the Hulk/Loki scene. Awesome. ;D
Fuck me, nearly died again

:lolhaha:
I've watched the three Dragon Tattoo films recently. I've got a massive backlog of stuff that I've never seen. I've got the Sopranos and the Wire box sets to watch and I've never seen an episode of either show. I've been told they're quite good.
Arnold Schwarzenegger's Commando
watched it with my 9 yr old son (trying to inject testosterone into him! lol) and my 11 yr old daughter.
forgot how much profanity was used but great and fun movie.
loved the typical hollywood one-liners and man he's huge... carried the log in the beginning during the credits and he used 'martial arts' in his fights lol
for someone his size, you would think he wouldn't... but it's his character to a degree, but then given his bulk, why use MA moves?
about 2 wks ago, watched RZA's The Man with the Iron Fists
these are the types of movies I generally eat up and love, but not sure what exactly it was, but i sat through it thinking it will get better. it never did for me. i didn't like it. there were some cool parts, but even Cung Le, oldschool Chen Kuan-tai and Lo Meng (aka Toad) didn't help me like the movie
I think RZA put a little TOO much into the movie, it's clear he loves the oldschool genre, but there were TOO many wacky characters with wacky styles.
Digression Fenster:
Every time I read your posts (and see your avatar) I cannot help but hear 'The Man with the Harmonica' in my head
LOL @ me
