re: last movie you watched (Flag Up SPOILERS)
I watched a surprisingly good film the other day called "The Double" starring Richard Gere and Topher Grace. It is about an agent who is chasing down a Russian agent he thought had died 20 years before and a new agent who learned everything about the previous case. I didn't expect much but it was a really decent watch and had a few decent plot twists.

'Dark Knight Rises' I FINALLY got around to watching it.....meh, it was ok I guess.

You were clearly drunk when watching it then (;D). This film was terrible. Full of plotholes and stupidness and obviousness and cliches. Just so bad

I finally saw this last week, i liked it a lot. cool it combined elements of 3 separate storylines.
also finally saw Jack Reacher, liked it a lot too. didn't read the books, so i thought cruise was good as reacher. apparently in the books, he's 6.5' tall and cruise is like 5'7". anyway, they used keysi fighting method and some of the moves looked cool on film.

Creature - It's a killing machine from outter space
re: last movie you watched (Flag Up SPOILERS)
Argo
Based on true story, its shot in a straight style which adds to the fervor. It is full of tension with an underlying menacing presence that is coming fast up behind you, it makes you never want to go anywhere near Tehran / Iran.

Vertigo -- An old Hitchcock classic!
Django Unchained -- A new western by Tarentino. Both were good movies.

I saw that one two weekends ago, and it was better than expected. The Jack Reacher character seems to be a (slightly) different character than the same one Tom Cruise plays over and over and over again, which was a nice change of pace. And the hot cars. Loved that.

'Hell Comes to Frogtown' starring Rowdy Roddy Piper....amazing movie, amazingly Canadian. I gave it 3 Eh's and 4 pitchers of maple syrup and a 12 pack of Molsen making it one of the most Canadian movies ever made.

i've not kept track of his career - didn't watch all his movies, so i wonder if his driving experience came from Days of Thunder. apparently Cruise did all of his driving in Jack Reacher. and he's supposedly a good driver.

Yeah cruise went on top gear and beat everyones time.
Jack reacher was good and so was dark knight rises
Saw evil dead remake but wasn't that impressed. Dark skies and parker are worth a watch

Coolio - dk'd he was on Top Gear. thx!
Yeah, Parker is on my list to watch soon. Want to read the novels movie was based on, written by Donald Westlake writing as Richard Stark. Parker series is said to be very good crime fiction.
Read the graphic novel adaptations by Darwyn Cooke, they were very good.
