I ALMOST STEPPED DOWN FROM MY POSITION OF GRAND DISTRIBUTOR OF THE DOCTRINE OF TELLING IT LIKE IT IS AFTER THAT NON-SENSE DECISION INVOLVING KIRILOV... THEN I REALIZED SO FEW TELL IT LIKE IT IS :D :D :D

Dude, after this confident performance of Oscar...... THAT IS THE OSCAR I KNOW AND MISS!!!!
:o :'( ;D :) <---All those emotions came over me tonight. :)
The best performance I seen of Oscar since 96!!!
My blooody net was down!!!! >:mad >:mad >:mad It's ok now though and I am about to watch the fight, can't believe it but it sounds as if Oscar made me shut my mouth by out brawling Mayorga?!?!No-one predicted that did they?
CC for the RBR Wacko and reading your drunken speech LMAO!!!!! ;D
Agreed. I had no clue that was coming either. oo\\\Quote:

:lolhaha:
NEVER thought I'd say that tonight.
I'm just glad that Oscar is BACK and that he only wants one more fight, to end it. :)
And when I say back, I mean BACK like in 96, Man!!!!! Like the way he fought in his lightweight days or during his Chavez fights!!! WOWOWOWOWOWOWWOOWOWOO!!!
Shane Mosely fight, Oscar didn't have much energy, even though I had him wining by one round. After the Sturm fight, Oscar broke my heart! Coming in fat, donut stomach, and accepting a belt by robbery when he was on the downside of decisions just a moment ago with Shane. Then in Hopkins fight he wasn't aggressive (NOT LIKE HE WAS TODAY). Hurting himself all this time, I thought he should retire, because he has character outside the ring, unlike many boxers.
:'( :'( :'( <------- That's in happiness. :)
Amazing Night!!!!!
I'm with Steward, if Oscar retires tonight, I'm soooo glad for him! But I also think he has one more SUPER FIGHT in him after this showing.
I mean, lets ignore his SUPERHUMAN power tonight and concentrate on something that most don't emphasize on what happened tonight...
Oscar parried, blocked to the head and body, with so much ease, it was so automatic. Yes it was from the wild shots of Mayorga, whose shots can be seen easier than a straight puncher. BUT that was some WORLD CLASS BLOCKING!!!! Especially in the face of a Hard Hitting Nicaraguan Ganstah! heheh Takes balls to do that, and GREAT FOCUS.
AND MY PHEONIX SUNS WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :)
CC for having a great weekend lol and nice analysis! I'm about to watch the fight later BUT did Oscar just outbrawl Mayorga and wuold that be effective against Floyd?Quote:

Any Oscar information coming from me, can be dangerous to your health. ;D
Aside from that Margarito comment, which does have reasons behind it by the way.
((I still think Margarito will give PBF Hell.))
Oscar is slower than Floyd, BUT Oscar HAS SPEED TOO, so Floyd will get caught by something in a fight with Oscar (As Floyd was caught by Sharmba Mitchell too). Oscar hates
straight shots, which is Mayweather's specialty, but May's no untouchable being.
And next to Oscar, Floyd will look like a little child! And Floyd's head will get knocked into the *cheap seats if he gets hit with Oscar's DEVASTATING LEFT HOOK.
*cheap seats for this fight would be about 500 Bones!
Floyd might even go for Margarito now. :D hahaha
Or go for Mayorga! hahaha
ps. Oscar mentioned Margarito as a possible opponent at the post-fight conference. Said he was one of the elite fighters, along with Winky and Mayweather as big possibilities for September fight.
*With so much press and good knowledge, Margarito will get his shot sooner or later. Especially since Oscar FINALLY mentioned his name.
good posting, gyrokai :coolclick:Quote:

what surprised me was oscar's power....i was astonished at the 1st round knock down, at times he clearly overwhelmed mayorga....
oscar has come back in my eyes as one serious force to be reckoned with....
I told everyone this was going to be a mismatch....
There's really nothing more to say, but that's cricket old sport.
woooow! Oscar was AWESOME!!!!!!! Ok,so I admit I was harsh on him,I thought he was manipulative, being greedy but he showed desire, courage, the handspeed, the power!!!! He dismantled and probably sent Mayorga into retirement, not even Tito could do that!!! Wowowowowow!!!!!
The Golden Boy is baaaaack!!!!! The only question I guess is over his stamina, can he still last 12 rounds high pace?? I think that would be the perfect note to retire but I guess he DOES have 1 more fight in him...could he beat Floyd though?
exactly my feelings after watching it :coolclick:Quote:
