Hatton is the winner.
Im guessing that McGirt gets fired tomorrow.
No Fagignagi gets fired and Buddy tells him he'd be better off with a dance coach. Fucking weak as piss Paulie

Paulie didn't fight to win...he didn't box, he didn't move, he stood there and took punch after punch....fucking wop ;D (no offense to you Italians... I use the term in jest).
Ricky crawled back to 140 because it's the only place he can win
That's an absurd comment. Hating bitch.
Ricky has been at 140 all his career.
What an absoloute cock you sound with that comment

I'm not hating...Paulie didn't come to fight!!!! And Buddy McGirt is the WORST trainer ever in the history of boxing.
I don't like either fighter....but I really hate Buddy McGirt he's a fucking quitter and he breeds quitters
Buddy McGirt a quitter are you kidding me ?
Exactly, you must have never seen his fight against Meldrick Taylor.

Re: RBR, Hatton v Malignaggi, Kirkland-Vera, Hatton-Tackie
It went how many thought it would.
Ricky is deceptively ast going in, overpowered Paulie and Malignaggi, like the Cotto fight, held on and fought only occasionally.
hatton looked fitter than we've seen him in a while.
Well done Rickos

Re: RBR, Hatton v Malignaggi, Kirkland-Vera, Hatton-Tackie
Malignaggi was about as magic as Paul Daniels there - thought he could have seen that fight out mind, strange stoppage
though not complaining as had a fiver on Hatton to win in Round 11 ;)

Jesus I never thought you'ld go:
"Yessssssssssssss" after a Hatton fight ;D
I like Ricky Hatton Lee i told you im not a Ricky Hatton hater, i'd root for him against almost anyone except Floyd Mayweather/Juan Manuel Marquez.

Re: RBR, Hatton v Malignaggi, Kirkland-Vera, Hatton-Tackie
Good to see Paulies promoter stepping in and backing up Buddy. It was a good stoppage. That shut Paulie's mouth quick smart. he said if Buddy didn't throw in the towel i fucking would have - lol.

Re: RBR, Hatton v Malignaggi, Kirkland-Vera, Hatton-Tackie
considering how much Paulie spoiled, Hatton looked great. Conditioning was excellent and his accuracy got better as the fight went on. Great result and hopefully Manny pulls off a miracle against Oscar and we can get Hatton Pacquaio in May/June.

Who's next for Ricky: Witter? Prescott? Bradley? Cotto?
Uh huh.....You were totally correct Lyle what a good knowledge of boxing you have
SOOOOO what next for Ricky? Is he going to allow himself to get destroyed by Cotto or is he going to give himself a fighting chance vs the lives of Witter and Bradley

A great performance by Hatton tonight. Looked great on the outside.

Re: RBR, Hatton v Malignaggi, Kirkland-Vera, Hatton-Tackie
Well done, Ricky!!
He did a fucking excellent job. The first round had me edgy but it seems that Hatton was looking to prove he can still fight hard for 12 rounds and was feeling himself around. He started pretty slowly and just upped the tempo thereafter.
I think the stoppage was premature, and I say that only because I wanted to see Hatton continue to lay it on and hurt Paulie some more.
Paulie was responsible for most of the holding and fought a really stupid fight.
Hatton got him in the seocnd and he wasnt really in it after that. Hattons jab was spot on, and you could see he was thinking all the time. And Rickys conditioning was beyond any doubt. He could have fought 15 rounds at a canter.
The Hitman is back, and he has taken the criticism on board and turned it into a positive. He has a quality pressure style and he has looked to refine it brilliantly.
Props to Ricky. Hopefully he will have a couple of weeks off and then get back to preparing his next move. It might be asking a lot but I would like to see him fight 3 times next year. Keep in shape, keep hungry and make the fights while he still has the chance to make them and win.
Marquez and Pacman would be wonderful fights. Screw DLH.

Re: RBR, Hatton v Malignaggi, Kirkland-Vera, Hatton-Tackie
JMM would be a decent fight, Pacquiao would be OK....I might watch it (out of morbid curiousity) but I just don't like Ricky's chances vs ANY p4p fighters

Good appraisal of the fight. Agreed with the F DLH and facing Marquez or Pac, that would make a great fight. However i think the stoppage was fine. How do you decide which shot is going to be the one to cause permanent damage to a fighter? He was not in the fight at all and was poised to get hurt bad. Good stoppage IMO.
