The Heat - A lot funnier than what I thought it would be...
Spring Breakers - What a fucken waste of time... 30 minutes in I was done and stopped the film.
Man on the ledge - It's worth the watch when your home. It kept me interested the whole way thru.
Dead Man Down - Good film, with good action and the story line was interesting.
Arbitrage - Overall the film was really, it got better and better as the movie went on. The ending is a bit questionable. But all in all it's a worth it.
Despicable Me 2 - Not as funny as the 1st one but still pretty damn funny.

Tthought you meant the 1960's Lee Marvin movie based on Richard Stark's Parker series. There's been a few versions of the same character, most recently Jason Statham's Parker, and Mel Gibson's Payback.
This French movie is unrelated to Lee Marvin's Point Blank I take it?

#1 It's Special Effects and #2 That trilogy was brilliant as far as the Special Effects go, George Lucas built LucasArts out of the success of that franchise. I would argue the Special Effects in the original Star Wars trilogy are FAR better than those in the new trilogy

I forgot if if it was Transporter 2 or 3, but there was a scene that made me laugh pretty hard.. the chick tries to fuck Statham but when he refuses, she says to him in this heavy European accent..
" are you the gay ?" lol
speaking of Statham and Bond, dont u think he would play a good, modernized version of James Bond??

On sfx:
my kids watched some of what i grew up watching and i preface everything with:
remember, when dad was a kid, this sfx was the best around, today it doesn't compare, but focus on the story
and one day, you will watch harry potter with your kids and they will think the sfx in that will suck compared to the sfx of their time.

Watched Terminator 3 with my kids, they kind of liked it, but thought ending was stupid. i was entertained, but not as greatly as i was entertained byt T1 and T2.
Actor David Andrews played Katherine Brewster's father, Robert Brewster. Haven't kept track of his career, but recall he played the dude who was looking for his robot fragdoll in Cherry 2000 starring Melanie Griffith as the 'muscle' who bodyguards him on this mission.
