Just to clear up. Next weeks bonus points will be awarded to anyone that gets ALL of the fights correct. Method of victory is not important, as long as you pick the winner.

Urgent amendment to this weeks fights

No one is happy at missing out on a points scoring opportunity (Harrison V Cook) so I have added a fight. In place of Harrison Cook will be Andy Morris V John Simpson for the British featherweight title.

This change is dependant on everyone being able to modify their picks. If anyone is unable to make the change in time Im affraid we will have to go back to Nicky Cooks fight and scores for a replacement fighter will be in affect

OK guys things havent quite worked out with this new fight. Most of us managed to get new picks in but some people have been unable to do so in time. The only thing I can do is make Morris V Simpson and Nicky Cook V ??? null and void. We are one fight short for the week but in reality only a couple of points were on offer anyway.

I am very pleased for myself. I saw dark clouds on the horizon a few weeks ago when I realised that Kickbox had crept within 20 points of my once hulking lead.

For some strange reason you didn't play a joker last week, Kickbox. So you went into the final week -16 instead of -9. Regardless I was so nervous making my final predictions that I could've S*** through the eye of a needle.

Change of opponent for Spada meant one point for each of us but everyone had a gimme for the Christmas bonus. :-\ Then came the draw. I figured no one got the bonus after that and the skies cleared a bit. :) A Marco Huck DQ win? I knew no one picked that. :D Then there was the 12th and 1st round KO's. Very hard to bullseye those two outcomes. ;D At that point I was 99% sure I had lasted. Then the late news that Chavez Jr went the distance. I doubt anyone saw that coming...

I had a lucky a** final week and I am grateful.

The reason I love this prediction contest is because it draws my eyes to fights and fighters that I would overlook otherwise. It's educational and I look forward to being a part of future contests.

I thought hiding the picks for the final week was a very good idea. It added a great deal of suspense.
