I hope they repeat.. As much as Burress is a retard he is a clutch performer and just about a sure thing in the redzone since at 6'5 represent a hell of a mismatch on the jumpball.. But yea the team wins games not one man, like I said before as Long as Jacobs knee allows him to keep playing he will provide the spark as he softens up the defense and allows Bradshaw and Ward to slip thru the cracks of the d line and of course it dosent hurt that their O line is very fast, athletic and one of the top in the league..

the only reason they have a chance to repeat is cause Brady is injured tihs year ;D


with that said, i'm equally a bronco's fan and they have to be SD to get into the playoffs and i don't feel too happy about that..

I AGREE. i dont see giants makin it to the super bowl again. i wouldnt be surprised if the Colts made it to the Super Bowl.

i just know/hope that the giants will get blown out in the playoffs.

It's actually been rainy and cold for the past week now.
And it looks like it's gonna be like that for sometime now.

I know it's not that cold compared to your spot but it is cold for us.

WTF happened at the end of the half of the Bills/Patriots game?!?! The refs blew like 30 whistles and never clarified why they were doing so then ended the half when the Bills were in perfect field goal position!!

Since the Bills blew it, I'm hoping we could beat the Dolphins and Jacksonville to hold on to their lead! Nothing wrong with both of us making the playoffs!

its not that Dallas season is over its that it got destroyed ;D. i think the Colts go all the way this year the way the beat the shit outta Titans just shows that they are one of the best teams in the NFL.

Growing up in Philly when I did,the Eagles were abysmal,it was pre Vermiel, so I just decided to pick my own team,Philly teams are allways my second rooting team(congrats Eagles) but they were all too frustrating for a little kid,so I just picked the teams I liked instead.

I cannot imagine the Vikings getting past Philly. I know they have a shot, but I've never seen them do anything other than choke. Sometimes it happens early and sometimes it happens late, but they never fail to fail.

How shit are Tampa Bay :confused: And Dallas too I guess. How do you, A) drop out of the playoffs by losing to the fucking Raiders, or, B) drop out of the playoffs by losing 44-6 to, anybody really.

Eagles remind me a lot of the Giants of last year when they are at their best but wildly inconsistent it would be foolish to count on them. Wondering how good Atlanta really is, haven't seen a lot of them. Great O line and a better running back in Turner, a bit of a formula for success.

Singletary gets the job tomorrow, not sure he saved the team or just rescued them from themselves. Shaun Hill has been great this year, no flash but no flash is neccessary. He is a top 5 rated passer in ever quarter but the 3rd where he is the 32nd rated passer in the NFL among starting QBs, that has to change. Still our best rated and most successful quarterback since Garcia.

But the best part of the playoffs, no Cowboys and no Brett Favre. It's to bad the Pats aren't in the playoffs, they had a great season all things considered. Hopefully they can hang their hat on that as it's being reported that Brady might be forced to undergo surgery that would take away his 09 season. Hopefully not.

I'm glad for Michael Bush and the Raiders really. It's good to see Bay Area football on the upswing (how about Jahvid Best?). I think I might have it on record here but I thought Bush was going to be a top 10 back in the league so it was good to see him have a day like toda.y

But yeah you can't blow the playoffs by losing to the Raiders, at home.

I still think the NFL's kind of boring though, it just is, don't ask me why, I don't have a good answer, it just is.

Also watching the game it was very shitty to see Cadillac Williams hurt his knee again. Somehow the CBS cameras picked up his voice and the first thing I heard him yell was "you got to be fuckin kidding me" and he kept yelling. Was one of those things that made you sick to your stomach.

You guys gotta admit the 9ERS! closed out the season with a big bang...

5 out of 7 games won.
We finished at .438 which is OK and def. MUCH better then expected.

Here's hoping we can see lots more of this next season.

u know wats better. that i predicted the game was gonna be a blow out i originally said 30-3 at first then after the eagles scored again all the people in my living room left quietly. it was almost as good as sex. :cool:

Heh, I hear ya. I remember watching that game with my friend who's a Bills fan. One second he's gloating in my face and I'm in hell, the next thing you know I'm in heaven. :p Ahh that was a good day.

Steelers are going all the way. Rothlisberger shouldn't play anymore imo. I like their back up QB better.

They were good today, although I only saw the last half of the Indy-SD game. But... the refs in that game should be shot, for the ridiculous calls they made during SD's last drive. Penalty after shady penalty, giving SD first downs until they scored. What kind of shet was that?!? I hate it when the refs decide the games. That was pitiful. Just for that, I hope SD gets blown out in their next game.
