Aides to Mr. Trump turned over a few dozen additional sensitive documents during a visit to Mar-a-Lago by Justice Department officials in early June. At the conclusion of the search this month, officials left with 26 boxes, including 11 sets of material marked as classified, comprising scores of additional documents. One set had the highest level of classification, top secret/sensitive compartmented information.
The Justice Department investigation is continuing, suggesting that officials are not certain whether they have recovered all the presidential records that Mr. Trump took with him from the White House.

On June 22, the Justice Department subpoenaed the Trump Organization for Mar-a-Lago’s security footage, which included a well-trafficked hallway outside the storage area, the people said.
The club had surveillance footage going back 60 days for some areas of the property, stretching back to late April of this year.
While much of the footage showed hours of club employees walking through the busy corridor, some of it raised concerns for investigators, according to people familiar with the matter. It revealed people moving boxes in and out, and in some cases, appearing to change the containers some documents were held in. The footage also showed other parts of the property.
In seeking a second round of security footage, the Justice Department wants to review tapes for the weeks leading up to the Aug. 8 search.

So he looked through the various documents himself, kept a load of them while telling the DOJ he'd returned everything, and the feds have footage of boxes going in and out after that date with documents being moved to new containers. All the people involved in that will be being interviewed and will have to tell the feds where they moved the documents and what they were up to.

So anything could happen. According to the affidavit they just released “the FBI has not yet identified all potential criminal confederates nor located all evidence related to its investigation”. But if the investigation doesn't turn up anything damning the most likely outcome is some kind of deal and whether they can work out some way of banning Trump from running again via the deal that doesn't look too political.

Probably a good 12 months for campaigning for primaries.
After primaries, you'd need about 8 months of campaigning for the general elections.

One thing is for sure, no matter which side somebody is on with this, it is a big mess because there is quite a bit of evidence even from Zuckerberg now and people in the FBI, that they did do this, and that is clearly the worst kind of election meddling. Suppressing evidence and also suppressing exonerating evidence has been their specialty over the past 5 years. It's a mess and everybody on both sides is guilty of taking part.

So he'd already been caught colluding with a Russian secret agent to try and alter the American election result. How about that.
Then he turns up with a laptop hard drive and a preposterous story about how he got it and shops it arounf every major media outlet. He refuses tolet any of them have forensic people check it to see if it's legit at all. Nobody bites. Trump gets onto Rupert Murdoch after his Wall Street Journal refuse to bite. Murdoch gets onto the New York Post which he also owns and is basically the tabloid version of Fox news which he also owns. Murdoch orders the Post to run a story. No journalist even at the New York Post will touch it. Murdoch eventually finds a girl who works for Sean Hannity who will put her name to it. It's the first story she's ever written/had published.
Giuliani still refuses to let anybody including the Post have access to the hard drive. Months after the election the Washinton Post and NYT eventually get hold of caches of emails and have them authenticated. They publish stories about them. The conservative media show this proves that the pre election coverup (which never happened, hundreds of articles and endless television coverage) was a deep state conspiracy.
Oh and the emails they authenticated show that Joe Biden played no part in his son's shenanigans. Along with loads of other reporting by mainstream outlets. It's amazing that the liberal media produce endless coverage of inflation, gas prices, grocery prices, the problems withdrawing from Afghanistan and all other negative things that have happened under Joe Biden but conservative media does not do the same when a Repubican is in office. It's basically just a twenty forst century version of Pravda. No negative coverage of their own team at all.
They didn't suppress anything. They told Facebook and other media outlets that there was aliklihood of another Russia propaganda dump before the election. That's all they did. Facebook like every other media outlet were circumspect about the laptop story but they still all published it. Trumps inflated net worth by billions, says NY state lawsuit
Donald Trump and three of his children have been hit with a fraud lawsuit after a New York investigation into their family company - the Trump Organization.
It alleges that they lied "by billions" about the value of real estate in order to get loans and pay less tax.
Prosecutors say the Trump Organization committed numerous acts of fraud between 2011-21.
Mr Trump has dismissed the lawsuit as "another witch hunt".
The former president's eldest children, Donald Jr, Ivanka and Eric Trump, were also named as defendants alongside two executives at the Trump Organization, Allen Weisselberg and Jeffrey McConney.
The lawsuit has been brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James, who is the state's most senior lawyer, after a three-year civil investigation.
Her office does not have the power to file criminal charges, but is referring allegations of criminal wrongdoing to federal prosecutors and to the Internal Revenue Service.
"With the help of his children and senior executives at the Trump Organization, Donald Trump falsely inflated his net worth by billions of dollars to unjustly enrich himself and cheat the system," Ms James said in a statement.
She said Mr Trump's own apartment in Trump Tower, which was valued at $327m (£288m), was among the properties whose values were allegedly misrepresented.
"No apartment in New York City has ever sold for close to that amount," Ms James added.
