Cheers man, I know I'm gunna have it rough for the next year. I may quit my job to work alot closer to home because I think I'm gunna be needed around alot more.
As for the fight, I haven't even checked the seating. I didn't book it so I'm not sure. Think the tickets are £200 each though so I know it's not ringside but the seats are still good. I'm pulling for Haye, but because of the Cruiser limit I'm worried he's going in weight drained against a guy who makes weight comfortably and hits hard.

Luke its good to see you back mate. How is your job working out?

Hey man, I'm still in the same place. The whole promise of another job is taking too long to materialise at the moment...and with everything going on I'm not sure now is the right time to start something completely new. I'm considering quitting and temping for a short while closer to home while I look for something more permanent along the same lines of what I'm doing now.
Where is the barman in this place?
Re: Saddo's Bar & Gentlemens Club.
Right here bud, whats new?

Not much...just the worst start to a new year ever for me. I could do with a cold one.
Re: Saddo's Bar & Gentlemens Club.
Yeah man, sounds rough...
Everythin will be ok sooner or later though, all bad stuff passes eventually.

Re: Saddo's Bar & Gentlemens Club.
Yeah, well hopefully I can help some way in that respect!
No I can't I'm really busy fighting myself and haven't got the time!

I couldn't resist. It's bein paid for me as a birthday present too. Hows your training coming? You had many fights in the last few months?
Re: Saddo's Bar & Gentlemens Club.
Thats great man, guaranteed you'll enjoy that fight!
Yeah I've had a lot of fights, I won the nationals a couple of weeks ago and I've got an international this weekened.

Best of luck and congrats on winning the nationals. What weightclass are you fighting at?
Where were the nationals held by the way?
Re: Saddo's Bar & Gentlemens Club.
Thanks man, I was at Light Middle, which was actually no problem, I shed a lot of muscle by dropping weights.
Nationals were held in Galway as opposed to Dublin's national stadium which gave me home advantage:)

Do you have much encouragement from trainers etc? You sound pretty damn good to be winning all these titles and I imagine if you keep this up there will be plenty of interest in you. You know if you turn pro, there'll be plenty of people on here criticising perfromances. If you keep improving though, you gotta fancy your chances of pressing on with your career.
When is the baby due and how is everything?

I'm decent to good. I'm boxing at Light Middle so at a shade over 6' I've got a nice natural physique for the weight which is an advantage.
The trainers weren't all that supportive in the builup, in fact one could say I was self trained, but on the day I had a fntastic corner, they way they could spot things was a huge advantage..
They joined the dots, and I kept the colour between the lines basically.
Yeah, I'm lookin to turn pro after this season and one more amateur season. The dream will come true!
The baby arrives in May. Everybodies looking forward to it now, we're stuck on names and ideas are few and far between!!

lol, you'll end up going with Alan Jr!
If you turn pro dude, I'll jump on the bandwagon. Let us know when you fight as I'm always watching the domestic scene. Do you get much positive feedback from guys you fight/people who watch you? It's amazing to think how far you've come already. It takes real discipline to be a boxer and there are few jobs I have more respect for. You think you'll forget about Saddos when you're a pro? lol
