Cuz Haye is a cunt of the highest order
He will win you over.
doubt it, did he really just accuse Fury of being scared of him???
Yes, you got to love him.
I think he meant because of his punch power
Re: Haye comeback fight on free to air tv
As pointless as you had to figure it would be, De Mori is junk. Haye looked quite a bit bigger than he ever has, no? Sat down on everything right from the get go, couldn't really tell if it was going to affect his mobility or timing, anything like that. I'd still like to see him in against anyone in the division, assuming the fights are actually going to happen.
Re: Haye comeback fight on free to air tv
He's looking good on the PEDs.
Re: Haye comeback fight on free to air tv
Right where the hell is Lyle? I need his analysis and criticism right now!! I haven't spoken to him for years and I want to discuss the Fury fight and other topics surrounding the HW division including his old mate......... The Hayemaker!!
Re: Haye comeback fight on free to air tv
The ref Bob Williams MC's for shows at my amateur boxing club.
Haye looks like he's slowed down a fair bit.
Re: Haye comeback fight on free to air tv
Just watched it (had to watch Young Montalbano on BBC4 first.😂) can't tell a lot from that, except he is very heavy handed , and we already knew that.
What is going to be most important is what he can take, and can Haye do the rounds?
If I had to decide now, I'd say it's a big ask to get back to where he was after all this time.
As he fights better guys , he's gonna have to be fitter than that.
Props to him for that getting that crowd against somebody like De Mori (how the fuck was he rated by a governing body btw.!!!)
Re: Haye comeback fight on free to air tv
I thought De Mori could have continued and was doing ok till that freak right hand.
Was defo ahead anyway. Shame
Dickhead will probably get a shot at Wilder now

I thought so too. He's definitely not moving the same as he did. Hard to tell on such a short fight against that level of fighter though.

He certainly has more muscle but I think he deliberately was taking his time and wanted to go some rounds. He still has the fast hands.
Re: Haye comeback fight on free to air tv
Haye really does believe the bullshit he peddles , I just read an article with this headline -
Haye " I want the belts back "
Has he forgotten he only held the WBA title ?

He's doing this because nobody is willing to back his play given the recent past. I'd wager he's burnt a few bridges along the way including pulling out of fights. On the other hand he could be trying genuinely to get back and get fans and has to go this route. I don't trust the guy. He's an event coordinator for himself. I think he's going to attempt to make a few million fighting stiffs and then retire again. I'll try to keep an optimistic outlook but with realistic expectations.
You miss the point, he's not making a 'moral stand' just an equality one. If he's fighting a stiff so what? As long as he gets paid appropriately. The classic example was Warren falling for Haye's cant make the weight any more story after he became Cruiser Champion. Within 2 weeks of that Warren offered Haye £1m to dot a clueless Enzo, money for jam. Haye is taking personal financial risks to get himself maximum return, good luck to him. A bit reminiscent of Billy Walker.
And conversely you missed mine. The mans a complete narcissist and a bluffer.I fell for it once leading up to Wlad. The rest is history. I'm not questioning his right to earn a living or put on his own show, I question his motives. You tried to infer that he's doing this so he does not have to be controlled by promoters. What I'm saying is that's more then likely a crock. Fool me once shame on you but fool me twice shame on me.
Think I get the message,
a) you don't like him
b) you somehow feel aggrieved that he lost to Vlad
c) you feel that his reasons for pulling out of Tyson fights were not genuine
Fair enough, everyones entitled to an opinion.
