You fool, I wasn't going to dignify this post with an answer but the alcohol seems to have got the better of me...are you forgetting that just a few months ago England had a fight between David fucking Haye and Tony fucking Bellew???
My god people have short memory spans don't they.
And we still have the second part of the inevitable trilogy to look forward to.

Keep seeing everyone predict Groves-Chud as 50-50-ish, I have Groves streets ahead on form and style.
Groves jab is excellent when he can fully put it into effect backed up with the right hand. Chud is absolutely made for a sharp fighter to ping his static sqaure-on bonce clean off before he can get up close. Chud is strong as an ox with a good engine/workrate but I can't see how he wont be busted up in the first half of the fight. I also think Groves dodgy stamina looks worse than what it is, like when he wears a whistle he just looks shit. He threw over a 1000 punches against Granite Rebrasse, pulled it out the bag against DeGale (albeit when they were comparative nippers) and comeback from a nightmare start against Badouey. The form/experience of Groves goes without saying.
Groves win is generally 1/4 - which is an acca price unless you're minted/bonkers like @ryanman - however, the KO/DQ at 9/4 is appealing to a mug like me.
Re: Kell Brook v Errol Spence Jr - 27/5/17 Sheffield UK
Really buzzing for tonights fights watched a few Spence fights this week there are holes to exploit for Kel, can Brook expose them, will Kels chin be as good after the weight loss, does Errols chin hold up to being checked by Brook who will be the biggest puncher he has faced, will Kels stamina hold up again after such dramatic weight loss, Can Kel back him up not seen Errol go backwards yet loads of if buts and maybes in this one.
Groves should win pretty easy.

Agreed about Groves/Chud but I'll disagree about Badou. Groves was right in it through 8 and Jack took over down the stretch pulling it out. Groves didn't appear out of gas but his work suffered down the stretch.
Re: Kell Brook v Errol Spence Jr - 27/5/17 Sheffield UK
I'm so fucked off about having to miss the FA cup final for this
Fucked off with the football for having the FA cup final kick off at 5:30pm, fucking crazy that, it should be 3pm, cater for the fucking country they are playing in, if the international audience are inconvenienced by the kick off time then that's their problem, they should work around it, like I have to work around it when the boxing is on at 4am over here, I don't text Mayweather and ask him to bring the fight forward a few hours so that I can get a good nights kip, football is fucked good and proper.
Fucked off with the boxing because it's PPV, I'm not paying knocking on for twenty quid to miss the first hour of it it, regardless of who is fighting I paid for it, I'm watching it, if it was just on Sky Sports 1 or BoxNation then I wouldn't be bothered about missing Andy Townend or the White Rhino in order to watch the final, as it is though I will be watching them.
Now don't get me wrong this rant is mainly aimed at the football, absolute cunts who are in charge there, I'm not complaining about the boxing being PPV, I think it is definitely a worthy PPV but the fact that it is means that I don't want to miss any of it because of the cunts who have fucked about with the football.
Re: Kell Brook v Errol Spence Jr - 27/5/17 Sheffield UK
Andy Townend on now, he missed weight so can't win the title, dunno what title it is for
He's usually in entertaining enough fights
looks like there is about 30 people watching this (and that's including the ring announcer and the corner men)
Re: Kell Brook v Errol Spence Jr - 27/5/17 Sheffield UK
Fucks sake, why have they got Tony Bellew commentating, I'm gunna have to listen to him gobbing all over his microphone for the next 5 hours
Re: Kell Brook v Errol Spence Jr - 27/5/17 Sheffield UK
Townend drops him in the second after chinning the other dude with a left hook and then pummeling him to the floor
other dude looks like he's in a bit of trouble still 90 seconds for him to survive
down again, other dude is done, corner has thrown the towel in.
good performance from Townend
Re: Kell Brook v Errol Spence Jr - 27/5/17 Sheffield UK
Jamie Cox v Lewis Taylor now, if I've seen Taylor before I can't remember him
Re: Kell Brook v Errol Spence Jr - 27/5/17 Sheffield UK
unremarkable first round there, Jamie Cox just pretty much doing what Jamie Cox pretty much does
Re: Kell Brook v Errol Spence Jr - 27/5/17 Sheffield UK
Not paid much attention to this fight, into rd 5 now, sounds as though Cox is making hard work of it
Re: Kell Brook v Errol Spence Jr - 27/5/17 Sheffield UK
Cox won after the fight was stopped due to a cut
pretty sure I heard him call our Eubank in his interview, anyone else remember that cunt, did he retire after he hit the dizzy heights of ITV PPV IBO world champion?
