Even though I don't see the fight happening because of the difference in size PBF is just to much of a talent to lose that fight. He has been challenging everybody bigger than him including Winky, Oscar, and Ricardo but he should stay at 147 and dominate the division, he will lose his power advantage at 154.
Ask all his opponents what power and they will explain. You don't destroy opponents like that without power.
What power?
Which opponents did he destroy with power?
I would say his most impressive power display would be Diego Corrales where he knocked him down 5 times in route to a KO, or what about the human punching bag Arturro Gatti who could not continue because of punishment, Floyd may not have Felix Trinidad type punching power but he can dish out punishment.
He dropped Corrales with speed and having him out of position. The only time Corrales was hurt was after Floyd hit him with a right hand when he was down.
He hit Gatti at will for 6 rounds and Gatti's corner had to stop it. Any real puncher who had the advantages Floyd had would have had him out of there by 2.
Speed does equal power, but even with Mayweather's speed, it doesn't equal up to him being a solid of big puncher.
After last night though, this poll is over. Mayorga wouldn't get a shot and i wouldn't be surprised if he retired again.
He doesn't take the same punch and isnt willing to go through what he used too. DLH was too fast for him and Mayorga didn't have a clue where to move his head. Even though he had 2 decent rounds, DLH was just too fast and technically superior for him.
