I would assume that since the cheater lost it doesnt really matter that he cheated.
incorrect, it should be a NC on the grounds that the outcome was effected in some way by a banned substance
how was the outcome affected? (other than mayorga maybe lasting longer than he would have otherwise)

because it may have slowed his reflexes..not all banned substances have a positive affect...even the ones that do have draw backs...i.e. steroid causing severe permanent shrinkage....

Oh yeah, I remember now. I think that's more reason to believe that Oscar knew that he was in for a beating and not looking to win that one. "BAD OSCAR!!!" ;D

Thats different. Because just like Roy Jones as far as the Richard Hall fight is concerned. Oscar tested positive in the pre fight drug test, and negative in the post fight drug test.

it's the same...taking a banned substance is what it is..and they said that it passed through his system rather quickly....

he shouldn't have chosen to use it then. if your proposal were the rule, then the incentive would be to use banned substances in every fight--either you win and maybe don't get caught, or you lose, cop to the fact that you used a banned substance, and then have the loss erased from your record. that's terrible policy.
Re: Mayorga tests positive for banned substance
All it was was something to make him urinate more, to help him make weight. Alcohol and coffee are mild diuretics aswell though I'm sure he took something more hardcore.
