Did you watch the Tszyu fight at all??????
Ricky Hatton did get hit with the big right hand and he walked through it Tszyu couldn't handle the heat and folded up. Get over it.
I thought the southpaw factor was bigger than the weight factor, but Collazo was a big natural welter with a good chin.
Re: Interesting....hatton isnt as good out of manchester is he?
Yeah right, of course Hatton must be sh*t!!! While US fighters like Zab are still the dog's!!! At least try to be a little more unbiased. No matter what happened, Hatton was gonna be a looser today. If the fight was won to easily, you'd all be saying that he was fighting a nobody.
I can't believe that you all are still going on about the Kosta fight. Most people outside the US agree that Kostya was comprehensively beaten, Kostya included. Let me just understand this, a nobody like Hatton roughed up one of the most experienced and knowledgable champions out there. So what exactly was the reason for Kostya quiting on his stool then?? You all know that if Zab had done the same thing in his fight, you'd all be saying what an intelligent fight he fought, and how he's matured as a fighter.
I'm not saying that some UK fighters arn't over rated, but not more than some US fighters. Joe C wasn't even given a hope against ur second coming, Lacy, and look what happened. People are still claiming that Benn was average, and still find fault with his beating of McClennen. Lewis took ages to get any sort of credit as heavy-weight champ, even though he beat everybody.
This was Hatton's first big fight in the US, and he was clearly trying to put on a show. As for he should not fight in Manchester, why not? Because if he fights in the US, especially with fans like you, the crowd is gonna be less biased towards PBF? Because in the US refs arn't influenced at all right??!!??

Reason why he quit on his school! The reason was the fucking ILLEGAL LOW BLOW he landed in the 9th round. Id like to see you stand after that! Well didnt it show when hatton wasnt allowed to fight his little dirty wrestling game he struggled?
Re: Interesting....hatton isnt as good out of manchester is he?
the only good thing to really come out of this fight was hatton proving his chin again. and at least he didn't get cut. but a pretty shite performance that he will definately not be pleased with.
Re: Interesting....hatton isnt as good out of manchester is he?
:coolclick: for that :goodpost: sanj 16.
Hey Snakey, ask the man himself , KT said the better man won.
Now KT is doing his best work on the dance floor.
Shame he couldn't find that footwork when the ring was getting cut off by a marauding and NEW WORLD CHAMPION AT TWO WEIGHTS. ;D ;D ;)

Too bad hatton cant use his cheating style in the US mate coz if he faces anyone remotely good and with power he is getting KNOCKED THE FUCK OUT! Hatton wouldnt be able to maul KT in the US and you know it...it would be a different fight with hatton probably finishing on the canvas!
Re: Interesting....hatton isnt as good out of manchester is he?
KT IS GONE SNAKEY, THE DREAM IS OVER, STICK TO THE BALLROOM DANCING IN FUTURE, HE WILL 'never' NEVER ever BEAT HATTON ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD.
Not even in Australia and not in Uzbekistan.
Is that clear? ;D
Also, Hatton just beat a tough WORLD CHAMPION in his own back yard, what have you got to say about that?
I know i'll be watching for Collazo fights in the future.
Re: Interesting....hatton isnt as good out of manchester is he?
i dont think so snakey. hatton took the best tszyu had to offer and he could handle it. its been a while since i heard you winge about kostya so get it out of your system. you must have a lot built up.
Re: Interesting....hatton isnt as good out of manchester is he?
He's right Snakey, KT hit Ricky with everything he had ans it wasn't enough.
Re: Interesting....hatton isnt as good out of manchester is he?
Jbirdy and whirlwind...please prove it ;D Coz i dont think you can. Just look at the illegal blows kostya took in that fight, look at the wrestling hatton did....kostya never even got the chance to hit him hard while hatton was lying on his chest. This aint a whinge mate, this is just me bringing back something you all said i was wrong about.....but hey now that hatton LOST in america, yeah IMO he lost and he got very lucky. He didnt know what to do coz he thought the ref would let him hold and hit but guess what ricky...the rules do apply outside of your home country!

Because Kostya didn't land any low blows himself during the fight? You might want to watch the fight again, a bit more closely. Personally I think that Kostya quit on his stool because he was knackered, being out fought and out hustled, and realised that there was nothing more to gain out of coming out for the next round. But what do I know, I'm not an american fight fan and therefore my opinion must be worth less than yours!
Re: Interesting....hatton isnt as good out of manchester is he?
I thought that the Hatten vs Tszyu was an ugly, wrestling match with gloves that I enjoyed very much. I though boath fighters did some shait that wouldnt fly elswhere, but IMO (most) British fighters are bangers not boxers anyway. And that is how their refs do their job. Correct me if Im wrong.

First off mate...i aint american, im australian! Those low blows were borderline, if ricky had balls in his belly button then fine its a low blow but they were nothing even close to what ricky did. Plus hatton was following through with elbows, leading with his head, holding and hitting and just plain wrestling. That shit wont fly anywhere out of britain!

Thats Bullshit if Ricky looked good winning I would have gave him his credit!!!!He showed no defense,he looked ridicilously off balance at times when he would lead with the cross he had his knee in the air for christ sake!!!! not to mention he smothers alot of his power punches he looked amatureish bottom line that had nothing to do with Boston or Manchester!!!!!DUDES he wont get away with that style of fighting the PBF,COTTO God even Judah could out box this guy...HE needs alot more work I'm not saying he cant improve but he is a few years away...
Why would the big names want to fight Hatton???especially after that mediocre showing
