To be fair not all are talking smack... just a few muppets ;) ... most see the fight as close and state as much and think Ricky lost... thats a fair point because it was close and with a few rounds making you see different winners. ;)
but you'll be able to pick out whos, who from the post that are surly to follow below ;)
nothing wrong with debating different opinions... as long as its kept real ;)
facts about this fight that cant and shouldn't be argued IMO...
Ricky looked S*** at Welter TRUE
No robbery just a close fight TRUE
Steelie is Gay TRUE
The only reason anyone who dosnt rate him would want him to stay at Welter is because they want to see him lose... TRUE
because lets face it Ricky just isnt a Welter and has a bigger chance of losing his 0 at welter than he does at lightwelter ;)
Re: Why do British people do this to British fighters?
Has the flusher been required since the Hatton fight at all ???

Re: Why do British people do this to British fighters?
yep true, but just cos you think one fighter is better than another doesn't necessarily mean that the one who you think is worse is necessarily shite.
Criticism or opinion is interesting, but on another thread you had 'Ricky Hatton what a wuss.'
Which then got a cool click!!!
He obviously isn't a wuss as he is a pro boxer and 4 time world champ, being childish now but, go say it to his face!!!

Im from the US and i think Hatton is an amazing fighter... Thought Lacy was a chump a long time ago. Had trouble giving Calzaghe his due til Lacys one sided defeat. I don't put borders on boxing. I couldnt wait to see Hatton beat Colazzo so we can watch him on HBO more often

Let me say this...a few members FROM YOUR SIDE of the LAKES had some pretty interesting things to say about Hatton & his performance after that fight...so let's not go point one finger at all Yanks...thank you very much.
It get's just as old to those of us that respect Hatton but haven't put both feet on the boat yet.
That needed to be said regarding the above statement. Not only American's were disappointed in Hatton's Assault...& the ones that did say that Collazo won...quickly changed there tune after all the sides & lines in the sand started being drawn.
It's on both sides fellers.
Re: Why do British people do this to British fighters?
Whats this?  The revolutionary war?  Hatton is great...  British or not.  Looked a little sloppy @ that weight but he'll grow into it and im sure will be comfortable in both weight classes.  I've been sold on him for a while.  Collazo didnt win the fight.  He had him in trouble a few times and bad in the 12th but Haton was the victor...  So this is one "yank" from "across the pond" that agrees with u
