The 12th was a huge round for Collazo, similar to Danny Williams against Matt Skelton, although here Collazo had been a menace for the whole fight rather than Wlliams who as usual had done absolutely fuck all up to that point.
Collazo deserved to win this fight more than Danny Williams deserved to beat Matt Skelton but this is boxing.
Ricky must know in his heart that he didn't win that fight, it was his name and reputation, not to mention his contract with HBO that saw him through.
I think there has to be a rematch in Manchester before the end of the year. Ricky will forever go down in my estimation if he fails to give Collazo a chance to avenge his (I think unjust) defeat.
So you had Ricky ahead before the 12th but you think Collazo won???? Hows that gonna make sense. Ricky stayed on his feat so it aint a knockdown 10-8 round. And Ricky kept throwing and came on strong at the end of the round so it definitely aint a no knockdown 10-8 round. Care to explain how you had Ricky ahead before the 12th and losing?

that settles it then computer box is always right,so that ends the argument for all time Leonard did beat Hagler, only kidding

I love Ricky Hatton's style but i was extremely dissappointed with his performance in this fight. Even in Mike Tyson's worst defeats, he still outperformed Hatton in this fight, and i was never really dissappointed in a tyson fight. I don't know how the punchstats were that high for Hatton because to me he hardly threw any punches. I love Ricky Hatton but Collazo made him look foolish. Going forward without throwing punches does not win a fight in my opinion.

Thats because in the rounds Hatton won he landed about 30 or so punches by compubox, in the rounds Collazo won he would land about 15 and Ricky would land about 7. Because compubox is an accumulative scoring throughout 12 rounds. So you can't say Ricky won just because Compubox said he outlanded Collazo ::** Collazo could outland Ricky for 8 rounds and then Ricky hit Collazo 50 times in the last 4 and outland him, doesn't mean he won the fight, fights are scored by ROUNDS not accumulative numbers of punches landed throughout.

When Hatton gives me a good fight, then i will give him his praise. But until then.

I had it a little closer but we had the same winner....Hatton was given a gift...Collazo was robbed...

JEEZ! Collazo was not robbed.
I am of the opinion Ricky won by a round, but am willing to listen to arguements for a draw or Collazo winning by a round. I dont think many Ricky fans would agree with the two judges that scored the fight 116-112 to Ricky, the fight was a lot closer than that.
Anyway, when we talk about a robbery, we talk about a fight that one fighter clearly won and he was robbed of the win.
Pernel Whittaker - Julio Cesar Chavez = Robber
Ricky Hatton vs Luis Collazo = Very Close fight.
The fight was very close and could of gone either way. That is not a robbery.
