IMO only Taylor would be a step up. Wrightis to small for Calzaghe. Hopkins, Tarver are over-the-hill and Johnson does not have the skills to compeat with Calzaghe. The hardest fight Calzaghe could chose now would be against Kessler IMO.

IMO he'd whip Joe's ass. You think Calzaghe handled a big puncher in Lacy well, and he did, but watch the recent Johnson vs Richard "Destroyer" Hall fight. He dominated that guy, droppin him and just pounding the livin hell outta him. Johnson fights in spurts, but he can really pour it on, and that chin is nearly granite these days.

Well I hope Tarver beats Hopkins, If Hopkins wins, then what? Nothing he retires. Atleast Tarver can go on fighting. I like both guys, But I just hope Tarver wins.

Well once Tarver said that he was upset about the side he's on, if Hopkins was in his prime he would have said.

"Tarver should not be upset about what side of the television he's on, he should be worried about which side of his ass I'm going to kick and if he keeps talking like that it may be both."
