Somebody's got to tell him that he ain't no Archie Moore. If he trained down to cruiserweight I think he would still give a good fight to a few guys in the top 20. I wish I could say more than that.

I went to the Miami Heat game a week ago to see them play the Nets. I got there late and the arena was packed. Before I could sit down Shaq hit a basket and the crowd went wild. I felt a rush from the atmosphere in the arena, raging fans screaming will get you fired up. As a boxer to walk out and have all cameras on you along with the fans screaming your name can be addictive. Holyfield is addicted this and he does not know when to walk away. He could end up really getting hurt.Quote:

Yes Evander will always be a champ!!!!! He was always an inspiration.. He will perhaps go down as having the most heart in Heavyweight History He is in my Top 5 of heavyweights of all time bar none!!!!! Funny thing is guys like Holyfield never stop having the will to fight and compete even when it is clearly over for themQuote:

If you can't throw the punches, get out of the game.
you know its a real shame mr holyfield doesn't just sit at home and enjoy spending time with his family and all the money his succes has brought him. for me he's the best fighter i've ever seen, a true warrior but he's got the most hurtest head ever, the man just can't keep away, old age, shoulder surgery, back to back defeats, millions in the bank, name in the history books, 30 years of non stop fighting, licence being revoked, possiblity of serious brain damage can't even stop him from entering the ring again
the man loves the rush
he has finally lost his mind....someone needs to deny his liscense....his brain damage is evident..he is no longer the eloquent fighter we grew to respect and admire...not he mumbles and slurrrrrrrrrs his words...Quote:

Saw what happened against Toney months back. The heavyweight division may seem like an easy bunch of sitting ducks at the moment but Evanders just too old and wouldn't be able to get into any fit fighting form near that of his prime. No point!
Don't do it Evander, you're a champ not a chump.
Please no, not Ruiz-Holyfield 4. Three fights were enough for my stomach.Quote:

what i cant believe is that he says he never held all for titles----wba,wbc,ibf,wbo and thats what he's goner do, so in 10 years time if another belt is seen as a real world title, eg iba, wbf, ibo, he's goner say that he never held all five titles and make another comeback at 55
they must ban him from the ring, he's the biggest example of a boxer going on to long, most others that do are skint and do it for the money, he does it because he is an fight addict
i hope he doesn't get hurt, i watched him when i was i kid he's my favored fighter but he must give it up
and for nevada not to give him a licence says a lot! didnt they give a half blind iran barkley a licence once?Quote:
