Promoter Bob Arum is furious at Castillo. "This is a complete disgrace," said Arum. "As far as I'm concerned, I do not represent him. If I was Corrales, I wouldn't fight him. This is a disgrace to the sport of boxing."
UPDATE: Castillo has two hours to lose two pounds. Period. The Nevada commission will not allow him to lose more, saying it is medically unsafe. If he can't lose two pounds, apparently there is no fight.

It's intentional. It has to be. If he had an injury like he says he did last time then he would have communicated his problems to his promoter like he did last time. This is intentional, it has to be if Arum was taken by surprise like this. I'm all for bending the rules IN THE RING, but this is just a disgrace. Unbeleivable that a world class fighter like Castillo would do something like this.

I could deal with that because at least he lost pounds since Monday. But the mother fucker put on weight since Monday and barely made the light welterweight weight. What does Corrales do? He is screwed basically. I mean this is a HUGE advantage for Castillo and while it would be a HUGE victory for Corrales, is it worth it? I don't think it is. I really don't. If Corrales denies Castillo the time of day then you won't hear a peep out of me. I would do it. It's so unfair that Corrales trains, he shows up game and ready to go but Castillo pulls this bullshit. I didn't want to say it but fuck Castillo. I love the way he fights but he crossed the line, and he crossed it by 5 pounds. That's an entire weight division!
