I disagree with Holyfield. Evander was 100% thrill ride no matter who he fought. He made his opponents get into real fighting condition because they knew they need to be at their best in order to beat Evander. not like today’s Heavyweights that have no desire and seem to have signed a contract that says lets not get in shape for the fight 250-260lbs absolute ridiculous weights now days , None effective weight I might add.Quote:

He seemed to have an attitude of just do enough to win, without taking any real chances. then in some fights he brought his A game . I liked Lewis before he put on all that weight. When he was 227 lbs against Ruddock .

Oh Bollocks

Seriously some of you guys ask so much from these men, It makes me wonder if you actua.lly think they should die in the ring just to please you?
John Ruiz ia a bum.
Although that might be unkind to bums.
I can see that debating with you is going to be difficult because we have to break it down in elementary terms for you. Let me give you a basketball analogy.Quote:

Does not mean that he was a bum, it does not mean he was not successful (Great Player) it means that people expected more out of him than he produced. That is what overated is. Champions can be overated, it does not mean that they are not successful.
