I have no desire to see Calzaghe face anyone other than the winner of Kessler vs Beyer.
Wright nor Taylor need to fwock with moving up.
I'm not sure if someone has mentioned it but Kessler Beyer is not yet a done deal as both have respective mandatories(Mundine for Kessler and someone for Byer)so,they need to sort that first.I think JC can beat them bith but whether the super fight alluded to is with the winner or RJJ remains to be seen.I don't see JT or Winky leaving their division,I mean there are alot of great fights to be made there involving Sturm,Abraham etc etc
Agreed The winner of Taylor and Wright or Hopkins are the only super fights out there.Quote:

The guy can probably make 3-5 mil a defense of HBO from now on if he wins. Plus, the guy is really young, there's no way that he's moving up. Winky doesn't have a lot of big fights left from 154+, there's a possible ODLH match and that's it. Winky wants the fame and most importantly the big money that he has become accustomed to now. The fight is most definitely Winky Wright vs Joe Calzaghe.
BTW, I know it's early, but if Winky beats Taylor and then beats Calzaghe, and ODLH beats Floyd, how much does anyone wanna bet that ODLH will hold off retirement one more time for a fight with Winky @ 160.
Your spot on mate, i have heard plenty round here saying it is Wright, and he is willing to come to England/Wales, lets hope he puts on an awesome display against Taylor and then we will have a massive fight.Quote:

I can guarantee you that more people would still want to see a Calzaghe v Reid rematch, even though Reids performance against Lacy wasnt up to par.
I don't think this fight will happen.....Winky is too old to step up in weight against a bigger fighter in Calzaghe....and Tarver won't risk that by moving up in weight...He's got youth on his side...If he's smart he'll wait another year...Hope Calzaghe starts to slip...and then try to take advantage of him....Quote:

Froch has a fantastic beard and one or 2 punches in his arsenal.
He snapped his thumb clean in half in the first round against magee and fought on to get the stoppage with the same hand. He is also a big lad at the weight.
Sure JC has all the credentials and experience and is the obvious choice of winner - but i wouldn't bet against it.
Froch GOES INTO fights with broken hands (mathew barney) nothing puts him off.
Even if JC gave him a shellacking - i dont think the cobra wouldn't back off.
I'd certainly love to watch it!!
Reid has nothing to offer, Frochs big on SkyQuote:

Cool Click City of God, it wouldnt be so easy for Calzaghe although I expect him to win...
Mundine i'm sure is available. That would be a good fight to see. ;D
