BULLSHAT!!!!!! put your gloves up and let someone with power hit them....you will move....still doesn't mean the punch landed.....and Winky won that round....

Watch the 12th again...Winky was the one landing the punches. Taylor missed & still got the 12th round.
Don't blame it on Winky when it was clearly his round.
I just watched it and you are correct....Winky won that round!!! and the fight!!
Re: SHOULD Chuck Giampa BE BLACKLISTED?
seems there is a decent contingency backing the blacklisting thus far
Re: SHOULD Chuck Giampa BE BLACKLISTED?
Chuck is old and needs to retire, he clearly got lots of money doing some errand for someone
Boxing needs new pair of good eyesight for judges.
.............or Chuck should have a new one prescribed one before the Winky fight
Re: SHOULD Chuck Giampa BE BLACKLISTED?
Winky's guard was consitently broken through. Hence the swelling and being wobbled. Not to metion some massive body shots.

he didnt run like ODH, he outlanded taylor
CC. Comin from a man who hates both Winky and Taylor nearly equally, Winky deserved at worst a draw and more likely should have gotten the nod by a slight margin. He did clearly out land Taylor in the last round, after watching that 12th round for a second and third time, I have seen it. Originally I thought he was runnin too, but the bias ass commentary made me think that. It was not the case. Both men were very hesitant and Taylor had one good flury, where he barely landed a single clean shot. And hell yes Giampa should be blacklisted, any fuk head who scores the first Spinks vs Judah fight for Spinks knows nothing about boxing.
Re: SHOULD Chuck Giampa BE BLACKLISTED?
Professional boxing remains the only major sport in the United States that does not have a strong, centralized association, league, or other regulatory body to establish and enforce uniform rules and practices.

Taylor did hurt Wright. But he occasionally broke through the guard, not conisistently by any means. Body shots never seemed to have any effect. And when your gloves get hit, they can bounce back and hit your face, thus causing some swelling, which is what happened. Also Taylor himself said that if he did ever hurt Wright, he sure didn't show it. I don't usually defend Wright, and it was a damn close fight, but saying his guard was consistently broken through is not accurate.

yeah Winky was able to block a fair share of those punches. I think the majority of the swelling was from unintentional head butts throughout the fight , Classic Orthodox meets Southpaw scenario , it happens. that’s just boxing .
Re: SHOULD Chuck Giampa BE BLACKLISTED?
Dalby shirley is another shi£house judge .
I thought to judge a fight you have to be sober, have use of sight or not b on day release from the nuthouse.
Re: SHOULD Chuck Giampa BE BLACKLISTED?
some real credence has arrived to the movement of blacklisting this induvidual

Chavez had not one, but TWO points deducted in that fight for low blows, AS WELL as suffering the only knockdown of the fight, and got DOMINATED. If anyone from that fight should be blacklisted, it's Abraham Chavarria, who despite seeing all that, gave CHAVEZ a 114-113 score :o. Giampa scored this fight perfectly.
