Oh come on Lucifer you do yourself disservice ;), because you hit the nail on the head with your first post, the Ol' Mongoose (Archie Moore)had the largest number of KO's recorded.
I suspect in due course Jimmy Wilde will over take Moore, as the excellent boxing historians around dig even further, but for the moment Ancient Archie is your man.
As for percentage KO's....
Well that is very objective after all, I am 2-0 (2) as an amateur, so surely I deserve consideration?
:o
LOL ;D
Pound for Pound power is very objective...
Britkid I said Archie first :(
lol ;D

Britkid who is the boxer who has a 100% record winning every fight with a first round KO?
I saw his box rec link on here a few months ago. Do you know who I'm talking about?
You may be talking about Edwin Valero...

Last time out he only won in 2?
He must be shit
Re: Who had the best ko record
Wow just did some research on this Valero kid.
He was in a major motercyle crash and his skull was smashed in.
He's got a metal plate in his head and can't get a license in the US because he's basically brain damaged.
Then he turns pro in his home country and starts knocking everyone out in 1 round.
Am I the only one who sees a future Marvel comicbook super hero in the making here?
Expect to see Spiderman Vs Tin Head at a cinema near you in 2007..............
Perhaps he can fight Audrey Harrison seeing as he now fights for only justice! ;D
Re: Who had the best ko record
Re: Who had the best ko record

As far as percentages go I was just kidding bout the 19-0 (19) kid.
Re: Who had the best ko record
I would guess Marciano and Shavers must be up there.
