Who agree's this has been one of the shittest World Cups ever!!

I dissagree, I think this has been one hell of a world cup. As the game said, quality goals and a bit of history, plus the bonus of the portugal/dutch game, I haven't laughed so hard and for so long in years. Admit that swiss/ukraine was pretty shit, but in previous tournaments (world cup 98 and euro 2004 shining examples) most games were played out to a fucking 0-0 draw or scrambled 1-0 win.

last night was horrible. I've enjoyed it for the most part, the smaller footballing nations have been giving the big boys a scare.

I think this has been a great world cup for the neutrals to watch!Every world cup has its crap games but there has been some crackers at this one. ;D

I think personally its been shite especially the knocl out games, id say only Zidane has performed out of the big boys, the others didnt even turn up, and i heard a fact yesterday the best player in the world the one and only Ronaldhino was second in most missed passses in the World Cup!!

For me not agreat World Cup, Mexico Argentina was the only game i thought what a match !! Other than that nothing did it for me.

Disappointing World Cup:

- way too much diving and theatricals, players rolling around trying to get others sent off
- The big Boys being generally poor (Brazil , Holland)
- Africa and the smaller countries not making much impression
- boring games (any Swiss ones)
- France are doing well, which I dislike as a matter of principle
- Our home team being being arrogant (performances don't matter) and complacent (we will win the world cup) and then showing themselves to be extremely mediocre.

Rio - you are paid to entertain people. People remember Brazil in 1982 becasue they were entertaining, not because they ground out results, you duck-lipped fuckhead.

That said there have been some good moments, so its not the worst world cup ever:

- Ronaldo breaking the goal record, though he let himself and his fans down by being unfit.
- The Argies were a good side, their goal was excellent
- Italy/Germany semi was a really really good game

Italy Germany saved it for me,a classic. Both teams played with the correct intentions:to score.
