Joe Bugner was never the same after he killed/brain damaged (can't remember which) a man in the ring...
Danny William's has no excuse other than being a head case... ;)

Ever since the Tyson fight has he only lost? that first round may have ruined whatever he had.

Beat Tyson, got destroyed by vitali, chased Audrey (won around on all judges score scards with out landing a punch at one point) and got a desicion over him... beat Skelton in a pretty close fight and then plodded after to him and got outboxed by Skelton.
Jesus... its only just sank in... out boxed by Skelton... who himself would even admit he doesn't have the skills that DW has.

Ulric Regis was the man who died after a Bugner fight.
The problem was Joe's attitude IMO( Like Danny). He showed in the Frazier fight he could compete with the best the division had, then in the Ali rematch in Kuala Lumpur, after dropping an easy decision, he was alledged to of gone back to the hotel, and to do laps of the pool, whilst drinking Champagne at each end; hardly the actions of man who had given it is all.

whats his problem then? After he beat Tyson I wanted Vitali to beat him but he beat Audley Harrison so why didn't he take advantage of it? Checking records was Skelton undefeated? Why didn't Danny make a run for the title or ESPN or something!?!?!

Joe Bugner fought Ali twice? I didn't think he fought Ali again after knocking him down by stepping on his foot and Ali knocking him out in the last round. The guy in the red and blue trunks was Bugner who the Rocky movie was made after wasnt he

That was Chuck Wepner I believe. The fight was an utter disgrace. Why anyone would put a guy like Wepner in with Ali is beyond me. If I remember correctly, before the fight Wepner had never been down so the fight was most likely just an excuse to make Ali look good by KOing a guy that had never been down. No disrespect to Ali here I just thought the whole thing was painful to watch

Mate Danny Williams would of got abotu 5% of what he got paid to appear prime time on UK tv, thats why he aint on espn, id say he got paid way over £100,000 for this fight.
