Is It Bad Vargas Lets His Sons Watch Him at Ringside?

Don't forget about the parents. Remember when Camancho had his mother at ringside for the Chavez fight, she was crying at the ass whoppin he was taking from rounds 2 through 10. Keep your family away from the ring, this is a brutal sport.

yeah its a huge distraction for me. some fighters like all the wife and kids and all that , my mother and girlfriend don’t watch my fights so that a good thing, I must say I love my dad and friends to be there , having support is always nice , but not the kids or the ladies . they get to emotional , nothing worse than mom balling at ringside cause you get a little nick over the eye. LOL

Anyways, you never know what goes on in his house. Maybe it's a lift for Vargas, or he thinks it's best his son sees him for better or for worse. Although seeing your dad turning into Elephant man must not have been a fun sight :-\

I wouldn't let my kids watch.......but there are kids that grow up sheltered and not seeing or hearing anything bad and turn out to be serial killers, so who knows.

Cotto's kids watched him get beaten up badly by Margarito, the cameras were all zoomed up on the wife and kid then HBO show them all crying fear over and over and over. I never understood why they did that.

Blast from the past.......no. They probably see alot worse on tv and at school, oh yeah the internet too.
