guess so. Nevertheless Green is the "prospect" here. And Lacy is the "former champ" So who's supposed to accept the fight ;) When the prospect challenges the champ, what is the champ supposed to do ;D

Four days ago Allan Green demolished former Contender star Anthony Bonsante and called out Jeff Lacy in an interview with ESPN. "To be honest, I expected it" said Allan Green. With Lacy out of the picture Green is now entertaining an offer to face WBO Super-Middleweight Champion Joe Calzaghe in October. "I will take that fight in a second! I have to meet with my promoter first and look at the specifics, but I am all for it" said Green

Green (21-0), is one of boxing's top prospects after scoring the ESPN and Ring Magazine knockout of the year against Jaidon Codrington and has reeled off four consectuive knockout victories

I hope the best for Lacy, Green can crack pretty hard but INO still needs to gain experience before jumping in with a better fighter, but you never really know

I realy think Lacy is going to come into this fight and make statement, that he's back and ready to be champ again. I don't expect this fight to go to the scorecards at all I bet Lacy gets him out of there around the 8th or 9th round.

I really do aplaud Lacy for coming back after that terrible defeat, and his first fight back is against one of the hottest new prospect in the division. My hats off to Lacy I hope he comes prepared.

If Lacy wins then Green was too Green to fight him. If Lacy loses, then A) Lacy was always overrated or B) Green is the next big thing or C) he beat up Calzaghe's damaged goods.

None of which may be true.

But its a no win situation for either,

If Green can give a good account of himself and not get horribly knocked out he will do alright.

"Im really a middleweight right now" ;) He should be.

I thought Joe would knock him out. I turned to it in the second round and the look in Lacy's eyes said "Oh no..I have a stomach ache" and that said he was going to lose so I turned away

I think Lacy learned more in his 1 loss than in all of his wins combined.....Green is in trouble......Welcome back Jeff...nice to see you....

A few weeks ago I would have agreed whole heartedly, but at the moment there appears to be a bad vibe coming from Lacy's camp, makes the fight more intriguing. I would have backed Lacy on top form to steamroller Green .

I would of thought they wouldn't of took such a dangerous comeback fight if they were worried about any problems or damage the Calzaghe fight may of left?

only seen green a few times and from what i can tell he is quick powerful but there are question marks over his chin. as for lacy he hits hard can walk through walls and i dont even need to bring his chin in to it. LACY WIN BY STOPPAGE MID ROUNDS

Lacy's good for the sport so im happy to see him back fighting, ive never seen Green so I don't know how tough a fight this will be 4 Lacy
