No biggies...I said that he would have issues with Casti...but I didn't think that he'd get KTFO.
Anywho...I voted Pac Morales because I never thought that I would see Morales get KTFO.
Had Hopkins Tarver been up there...I'd've voted for that one instead.

I voted for Quintana over Julio.
Julio was supposed to be indestructible and got dominated. I was certainly shocked.
Zab not turning up wasnt too much of a shock to me, altho Ill never clame I thought Zab would lose to Baldozar still.

Quintana schooling Julio
The legendary EM being knocked down and out
Carlos Baldozar fullstop
Sturm getting KTFO
Re: We are more then half way through the year, what do you think is the ...
castillejo over sturm got my vote, but Nashiro over Castillo deserves more mention. I rated Martin very highly and he lost to an opponent with what, seven fights?

I voted Baldomir/Judah because at the time Baldomir was just some guy coming in for Zab to tune up on. And the fact Zab already had the PBF fight lined up. Some tough choices thou, EM/Pac, Sturm/Casti.
CC great thread Mick.

Its tough to say between Sturm and Judah, Castilliejo had a better career overall than Baldomir(who somehow had a draw with Cruz) going into the fight but he was moving up in weight unlike Baldomir. I don't know, maybe Castilliejo-Sturm, but Baldomir-Judah could easily be the pick. Before the Judah fight there's not all that much that was impressive about Baldo's resume on paper, or definitely not as good as Castilliejo's who had at least been in with some elite fighters. I was shocked by both fights.
I was gonna mention Castillo but wasn't it stopped on cuts? Still it was supposed to be pretty much even before that and its surprising that he'd even be in a relatively even fight with a guy with 7 fights. Big surprise.

It has to Baldomir vs Judah. Prior to the fight it wasn't even discussed that Baldomir might win. It was just an uninteresting time filler for Zab before the Mayweather fight.
Qunitana beating Julio was a shock( shut the F*** up Game/ EL phenom :fyou: ;D) but apparently people in the fight game rated Quintana very highly so it didn't take everybody by suprise.
O'Neil Bell beating Mormeck was a huge suprise as well. I remember reading the boxingtalk predictions prior to the fight and everybody went for Mormeck, the only disagreements being over which round he would knock Bell out in.
By the way what the F*** has happend to O' Neill Bell? I mean he hasn't fought since that win way back at the beginnning of January.

True neither did I. I mean knew hes lost before buth never like that.....
Funny you bring up Hop-Tarver, but I found that he was favorite to win. In 2 out of 3 sources.

Completely agree on the comparison of Baldomi & Castillejo.

The WBC has mandated that he give Mormeck an immidiate rematch not sure if a date has been set.
