No not really. My trainer and her trainer have had a few contactmoments. And according to my trainer, the other trainer told him that she's a bit unsure after getting a blow on the nose and everything, and wanted to cancel the fight. My trainer plead to let the fight go on, saying, i'm not so brave either (LIER!!! :D ;D) and that this fight is just a one-event only for both of us....
Well, it could be true offcourse, that she's a bit scared and all, in which case it will be an easy fight for me, but we prepare for the worst, taking in consideration that the other trainer could just be pulling our leg, and she's a killerqueen as well!
What ever it is, i just want to go in there being the best i can be, and we will see what will happen. The union granted me a year, against regulations (i'm one year to old to still be allowed to box) because they validate Chris and Martin so highly who said to the union I am easally u[ to the challenge. So i'm gonna put down an as good as possible fight, both technically as condition-wise (want to do that the whole year), to proof their trust in Chris and Martin is wright, and that way, maybe make it possible for other women who start at a late age to start doing matches as well. Do my bit for femaleboxing in the netherlands....
Well whatever. But most of all, i want to enjoy it!!!! 8)
(edit: she's the only female in my weightclass (80-85kg), that's why my trainer wants to prevent that the fight is cancelled. That is also the reason why i want to be around 75kg (now 82kg, i came from being 107kg in may 2005) by the end of the year, cause in that category there are opponants)
Good luck Killerqueen ! Hey Lucia Rijker is from that neck of the woods ! what a great fighter she is. ! love watching her box, she is a technically sound fighter, Lucia throws punches with conviction, faints , she know exactly how to bait her opponents into doing what she want them to do. ,. the best female boxer ever in my opinion ! was she an inspiration to you Killerqueen ?Quote:
