I dont think he called a reporter and said "listen, If lennox comes out of retirement so do i" he was probably being interviewed, if he would ever come back. and they took a snippet of his interview. also, whats wrong with him wanting to beat the man, who he knows He could have beatin on that day. Does it bug him? probably..so what?

Now...that bit of debauchery being said...Vitali was one of my most favorite heavyweights of the past 10 years. Yep. You heard it here first. Speaking of firsts...Lewis would be my favorite first.
Truthfully...I lost a lot of respect for Vitali for the way that he went out...but who am I to say? If the guy was legit injured...then there was no other option...but in the end...I would have loved to have seen a rematch between Vitali & Lewis. Both came in unprepared & it would be beautiful to see them fight on even ground.
I like both fighters & always will...but the facts are the facts...there is no bigger fight out there to be made than this one...but it will never be made.

of proportion by the media...or some boxfan...
And sometime they were just quoted wrong...

I think if the 1st fight had have continued Lewis would have knocked Vitali out! I would have loved to see the rematch though, would have put all doubts to rest.
