ive gotta say im hurtin, first mr miyagi now the great steve irwin, how many more greats are gonna be taken away from us, im mean it wud of been a bit easier to take if he went out in a blaze of glory gettin mauled by a crocodile, but a sting ray a f*cking sting ray, he deserved better,

Isn't it strange, how he did all those crazy thinks, with spiders, snakes and crocs and then dies in a complete accident :(
This really is upsetting news, tis true he had great enthusiasm which made his shows so interesting. Desparately sad to see him go.
Steve was an absolute Aussie Legend. He gave lots and always had time for anyone. We are glad that it wasnt just us Aussies who got to enjoy his crazy and great personality. :angel: :bow:
He had a very addictive personality... he will be missed :(

Irwin was an inspiration to animal lovers everywhere, his passion and commitment to conserving the environment and wild-life was second to none. Very sad news. Thoughts go out to his family.

Yea I liked this guy. Never saw a lot of him, but what I did see what pretty cool.
How does a sting ray kill you? Australia's north coast. Irwin, 44 was killed by a stingray barb that went through his chest. What does that mean? I went swimming in the ocean off the coast of Grand Cayman with tons of stringrays. Very popular attraction. Did not seem like any danger involved.
How crazy was that??? Especially since the Sting of the Ray usually is not fatal he just by chance got it through the heart...What are the odds on that?.....
I thought the guy was a little nuts but entertaining...My kids loved him they got a kick out of the way he talked.....
I am going to sound corney for a second but...It is a shame there are not too many shows on TV you can watch with your family and everyone enjoys without worrying about the content...

i was swimming with stingrays in antiuga the other day. the barb that killed him must be diffenrent cos there is no way its tail could go through someone. poor old steve, i liked that man. will be missed truley.
The most exciting guy on tely. Away to walk sui - "the best little dog in the world". He'll be sadly missed.
I feel that. Was such an energetic guy and did what he loved...made countless people more aware of animals and what needs to be done to protect them. I'm sure his death won't be in vain. Crikey, mate. RIP.Quote:
