Worst decisions in recent memory--

Since I don't think Peter-Toney was a robbery. (The problem is the 5 point spread 116-111 for Peter, thats the problem)

I went with Lewis-Holy I, Vargas-Winky then this one MOST of you might not have seen it but it was HORRIBLE.

David Diaz (Newly crowned WBC Lightweight Champ 'Interim') vs. Silverio Ortiz. Ortiz outworked, outhustled, out everything on that night. Diaz got worked from post to post and when the verdict was announce the hosts of the show (Solo Boxeo on Telefutura) were so disgusted that one of 'em actually went off and did a mini Teddy Atlas with one of the State Comm. Truly disgusting decision.

For those who keep saying Winky-Vargas, have you even seen that fight?
How was Winky dominting Vargas like he does fighters now? That fight could easily went either way!

I saw it live, I've seen 3 times since then and I get the same result. Which is Winky wining the fight, it's not as bad as Lewis-Holy BUT it is a robbery. The thing with the fight was that Vargas was landing the bigger punches but Winky IMO was working more and kept busier through out the entire fight.

I saw it twice & once just recently & it could of went either way so I dont see it as any robbery

Wright/Vargas was definitely NOT a robbery. You may say it was controversial but no way a robbery. The fight was close and could have gone either way. The robbery cry stems from Wright being a near no name, underdog, tune up and giving the highest level named Vargas all he could handle. DLH/Sturm was close also. People often give the robbery tag too much. Controversial should be used more. Like the Peter/Toney fight. It was not a robbery but very much controversial because of the scores of two of the judges. To me the fight could have gone either way but neither fighter won by the margin of 116-111. Not to mention the deduction of a point to Peter. The fight that comes to mind as the worst decision I've seen is Whitaker/Chavez draw. That was a robbery. I heard Chavez die hards even admitting that he lost. The Forrest/Quartey fight was definitely the wrong decision and is probably a robbery to me.

Off that list, Holyfield Lewis.

Im sorry guys the true definition of a robbery/bad decision has to be Bobby Pac getting the nod against Carlos Hernandez. Bobby Pac's trainer came out and said there was no way his boy won, Hernandez's wife was in tears, that was the sickest robbery ives seen, just no way in hell Bobby won that.

I agree on that and have posted it in another thread..IMO it could have been a draw the margin was the problem but it seems as though many feel Toney was robbed by the amount of threads started thats what gave me the idea

Good one, doesn't get mentioned alot... Out of the list, either Augustus Burton or Holy LEwis.... Holy Lewis would probably be my pick due to what the fight meant, it was a hw unification bout and it truly wasn't close... Holy won maybe, maybe, 3 rounds..
