When was the last time you had an undisputed champ and not just some one with an Alphabet belt?
Since Lennox Lewis has gone, when was the last time one of your fighters was considered 'the man'?

Sorry but who is this directed at? If it is at Lyle then I must point out that Lewis represented Britain during his professional career, Canada during his amatuer career, and now America during his post boxing career.Quote:

Well it's best to ask "Which undisputed champs were NOT American?"...we do have a lovely history in boxing
Was born in England, lived there for 13 years... had to live in Candada with his mother... moved back to England when he turned pro... because he wanted to (and now he could) and Commentates on an America Network for a shit load of money...Quote:

Lyle... are we talking about the heavyweights or all of boxing? ::** Who wants to talk about the past?... talk about the most recent undisputed champ... not 2 wastes of space... Audley and Guinn don't deserve a mention in HW history
Actually and this will make you sick I promise you. I bought the entire ESPN boxing classics series on dvd. Anywhere there was a 2 hour documentary on the history of boxing starting with Gentleman Jim Corbett and John L Sullivan and coming right up to the present. It ended with a look at the careers of Roy Jones and then featured the most promising heavyweight at that time.............Audley Harrison. :-XQuote:

I think I have that one, it's presented by Henry Cooper and Narrated by reg guteridge?
It has fraudley on at the end too, can't remember RJJ on it.
yup thats the one. Jones is on either immediately before or after they do Hamed at the end. And then it ends with the Great British hope Audley.Quote:

Must have been made when he had just (beat up a few sub par heavyweights not in their physical prime... unlike him) won his gold medal.
Yeah to be fair Audley won gold at like 26 or something, competing against kids in the amateurs.Quote:

Was this article written on April 1st by any chance?
Anyhow....Britain need a decent heavyweight, and if it ain't Welshman Scott Gammer, then I'd settle for a guy with the name of Tyson Fury. Perhaps his full name sounds like a film title, Tyson Battle Blood Fury.
Why are the white eastern europeans champions now?
Why was the black Americans champion then?
Interesting questions, I don't have the answer myself.
Can someone else shed light?
Economics I think is the answer
Sounds promosing, the fury's are big gypsy clan I think so he's probably solid and a right nutter!
I hope it's serious, because it all sound like only hype...
man, you can't count only on a name....
That'd be right, where loads of traveler's with him when I saw him... he's ment to be decent... don't know if he is going to the olympics or become british champion or what.... but he is ment to be a very good amatuer.Quote:
