Re: Erik Morales vs Manny Pacquiao: The Inflection Point
Morales is not as faded as made out but he is faded, because no matter how good you are, look at his level of competition and tell me that won't have an effect on a fighter? He is amazing,an all time great but I wish he would have had a break in between all these super fights he gives us. I REALLY REALLY hope he wins, fights 1 more and then maybe retires but depending on how his performances are.

Not saying he dropped his hands or anything. But he was definitely trading punches and not moving his head or trying to box. He was brawling and didn't try any defense whatsoever. Not the wisest thing to do, but it makes for really exciting fights.
Re: Erik Morales vs Manny Pacquiao: The Inflection Point
exactly how i felt, i didn't mean that he was just daring Pacquiao to hit him like Wright did against Mosley and Mayorga did against Forrest (in the rematch), i just meant that he wasn't boxing really at all, in the first fight (which i had scored 8 rounds to 4 for Morales) he boxed and brawled beautifully, if he would have stuck to the same gameplan second time around i honestly believe that first of all the fight would have gone the 12 rounds, and that Morales would have been able to pick up another well deserved decision, but all he did was brawl from the get go, wear down, and then have the fresher Pac Man, finish eating up a legless Morales

CC bro i totally agree. EM lost the legs and it was all down hill from there. emanuel stweward pointed out that when his corner started massaging the legs then it was all over.
