Hmmmm, i agree ;)

I fear that Floyd is endevouring to emulate what Oscar has done in his career. What with the history within the camps. Floyd wishes to be the greatest fighter of all time, hence the weight moves. Now in that i dont know if Mayweather has the strength to defend against a fully blown welter/lightmiddle. In fact i believe he has, and would, have trouble with the power of lightwelter's over the period of a fight, Castillo, Hatton for example.

Now dont get me wrong, Floyd is one of the most gifted boxers of our generation...... but he is beatable.... And i believe now he is making his way through the divisions, and impressively picking up titles ( admitidley against weak opposition ), this is when he will get caught out. It may not be aginst Baldy, but he has to fight a hungry, young fighter, just like himself soon!

I have read somewhere else Floyd is sparring against super middleweights, is this a wise move?

Remember when Mitchell and Hatton where on the same card?? At that point, I really thought that he would have given Hatton problems. Of course i didn't know what he would have done to KOsta. What do you all think if a Hatton/Mitchell fight had taken place that night or a year before?

Power is not everything...outboxing every one of the men that you & many others neglect or have neglected to mention such as Hernandez, Chavez, Judah, Corley, Castillo, Augustu, Juuko, & Manfredo...well...that say's a lot.

Then again...it's all in what you/me/he/she as a fan needs as a fighter.

He has power. He just dosen't have great one punch knock out power. But how many fighters do? Anyway, Floyds game ain't based on power. What it's based on, Baldomir has no answer for. Mayweather by complete shut out.

PBF definetly has enough power to make a fighter respect him in the ring. people said he had no power when he moved up to 135. no he didn't stop castillo but that doesn't mean you don't have power. he stopped ndou before moving up to 140. when he said he was moving up to 140 people said he doen't have the power to keep a 140pounder of him,yet he everybody he fought at 140 hit the canvas at some point during there fight with PBF.

PBF speed will stop Baldomir. if judah wasn't such and idiot we wouldn't even be talkin about baldomir right now.

While I agree with your opinion...I don't know about Baldo lsoing by shut out...I think that we all get a shocker again...but not a knockout from Baldo.

I think that FLoyd will win...but it's gonna be Baldo from round 1 to 12 & a hard fought decision.

Actually,I have heard numerous times that PBF has more pop in his punches than it looks and he has a good KO ratio,so he must hit fairly hard! I remember JLC said in an interview after the second fight that PBF hurt him with one of his right hands,coming from JLC,that is impressive! The only thing you can blame Floyd for is he jumps into his punches at times and lands on heads/foreheads and breaks his hands,wish he didn't do that!!!

Also,his game is not bsed purely around power,he has everything else too like speed,skill etc IF he had 1 punch power,it would not be fair!!!!

Honestly, if it was you... Id rather take your best shot ;D But I can't say I'd rather take Hearns right hand then have Floyd beat on me for any amount of time. Not that I could stand up to it but hypothetically being KO'ed is always the worst, Floyd does have accumulative pop in his punches but he isn't a power puncher who can badly hurt anyone at welter. Id be shocked if Baldomir didn't last the distance honestly.

Agreed power is not everything, but i do think that him fighting these bigger stonger guys will eventually hurt his legacy cause 1. He cant take any risks 2. he cant go toe to toe and 3. He cant hurt true top Welterweights+ imo

He can go toe to toe, his defense allows him to but he doesn't take risks and he doesn't have enough pop to hurt the true welters because he has brittle hands BUT the bigger gloves may help him hit harder

big gloves will not help him hit harder cause theres so much padding. Those goves he used vs. Judah were no punchers gloves

Power is something of a misnomer when used to describe PBF's punches. I learned a long time ago that velocity plays a larger role than mass when determining impact - just look at the damage a tiny bullet does! So when people say PBF has no power, it's just plain false. He has a different type of punching power than many other boxers, simply because he's faster than a lot of other boxers.

With that said, I still think Baldomir is very strong, relative to the other opponents PBF has faced. I'll be surprised if this one doesn't go the distance, with PBF unable to hurt Baldo significantly and Baldo unable to corner PBF.

So your saying Leonard didnt have power becuase he fort that way against Duran? If so i can promise you Leonard had GREAT power. Anyways Pernell Whittaker was feather fisted but hes still one of the GOAT's.

who ever said that PBF was a power puncher anyway. thats not normaly what you hear when people desribe PBF. so where did you hear this myth.
