The problem is i dont think he has the power to keep a true welterweight off him. Baldomir will have to walk thought his fast punches to land his harder shots. I think Mayweather knows he cant crack so i expect him to try and fight like Leonard did Duran the second time and this will not be a good fight for Mayweather to make more fans.
Hmmmm, i agree ;)
I fear that Floyd is endevouring to emulate what Oscar has done in his career. What with the history within the camps. Floyd wishes to be the greatest fighter of all time, hence the weight moves. Now in that i dont know if Mayweather has the strength to defend against a fully blown welter/lightmiddle. In fact i believe he has, and would, have trouble with the power of lightwelter's over the period of a fight, Castillo, Hatton for example.
Now dont get me wrong, Floyd is one of the most gifted boxers of our generation...... but he is beatable.... And i believe now he is making his way through the divisions, and impressively picking up titles ( admitidley against weak opposition ), this is when he will get caught out. It may not be aginst Baldy, but he has to fight a hungry, young fighter, just like himself soon!
I have read somewhere else Floyd is sparring against super middleweights, is this a wise move?
