What about if Harrison pulls off something ilegal during the fight, like a punch to the back of the head or something outrages due to the alcohol? Costing Cook his career or health?
That would be OK?
You do realise alcohol may not be a performance enhancing but it IS a dangerous substance. Also different substances have different effects on people what may make you drowsy it might have a different effect on me and wake me up, it's different for everyone.
I got a friend who plays b-ball and can playbut whe he smokes weed he plays, hussels and runs 3 times better.
Not sure if you fully understand what your saying?
You just told me that you have a friend who plays basketball 3 times better when he smokes weed, and then you say I don't understand what Im saying?? Alchohol or Marijuana will never enhance anyones performance, I don't give a damn what anyone says. I was just saying in no sport do they ever test anyone for alchohol, and it's for the reason I stated, noone would be stupid enough to perform under the influence of it anyways in boxing... Not at the top level.
By any chance are you drinking right now?
Did you read my post carefully.... I highlighted in read your comment and the comment I made below.

Wow, Mick... Anyone ever told you you should be a lawyer ::**... Are you fuckin kidding me.. All I said was that it's ridiculous for you or your friend to think they play better when they are high... And it is, Marijuana is completely detremental to any physical activity and believe me I know.. It's just retarded what your saying... That because your friend thinks they are better at basketball stoned, Harrison could be a better boxer when he is drunk.. I didn't even mean to debate it at this length. I thought it would be pretty basic, alchohol is not performance enhancing, and no major sport tests for it in any way shape or form , for that reason... Go on and highlight your posts all you like, I know what Im saying, too bad you didn't respond to it.
Re: So Harrison's comeback is against Cook...
Wow!!
This is insane....
OK let me get this straight you think it woulb be OK for Harrison to fight under the influence of alcohol because it's not an enhancing substance?

Harrison's already fought under the influece of alcohol....that's what gave him his court date.....and I doubt Nicky Cook will have four cops at ringside to drag Harrison off him. :p. Yeah, I don't think his own corner would let him go in if he's under the influence of alcohol though, they can't be stoopid enough to think he could still win.

well there was that incident with betablockers some years back. So if you're affected by stress then it could help.

Warren....you must have a much higher alcohol tolerance than I do, cause I always hit my peak at around 1 1/2 pints, and after 3 I'm just starting to go downhill and shots are going awry. And after 7 my grip on the cue is becoming slightly loose.
