I would say;
'El Nino De Hierro' Calderon
'American Boy' Litzau
i wouldnt say winky is one dimentional, i'd say it would be just a extremely simple yet effective two or three dimensions...
all it is is long arms great defence good solid combinations timing and a bit of movement,
in no particular order, and not even all in any particular fight, except the good punches and defence
peace
I think what makes a fighter one dimensional is if somebody has technique that trumps a fighter they can adapt to win the fight. This is why somebody like Roy JOnes Jr. who didn't fight much on the inside was as versitile as any fighter when he was in his prime... He could fight off the ropes if he got caught, He could lead with his blinding speed or he could fight off his back foot and counter an opponent with his unnatural reflexes and speed. People like Evander Holyfield was a decent outside fighter, and a great inside fighter, but he lacked top end defense, and was a little to willing to slug it out instead of using superior technique and speed to win a fight, another fighter like that is Corrales who IMO could have easily beaten Castillo on the outside. Anyways IMO a person like Leonard is a perfect example of a multi-dimensional fighter... He couldn't beat Duran in the first fight at his game so he changed for the second fight. ALso against Hearns he couldn't outbox the man which is what Leonard was used to doing his entire career so he out slugged Hearns and won that fight. Sure IMO Leonard didn't have the greatest timing, and he telegraphed his punches, but he was a survivor. ANother great one is Ali.
I couldn't agree more with Litzau but i think he made a choice because he knows that fights sell more than tactical masterpieces.Quote:

About Litzau eventhough I hate Teddy Atlas he couldn't be more right when he told Jason NOT to make it a habit to get into brawls like he does or he might cut his career short. Jason with the attention span of a 5 yr. old laughed and said 'Im here to entertain you guys the people, werent you entertained Teddy?
Though it's true about the way he chooses to fight I think it would be OK to at least show he has actual skill in the ring like outboxing or making some latteral movements...
Yeah you're completely right, he does have that big amateur pedigree with a record of 125-10. He has to have learned something in those matches. But you gotta admit, the guy is a bit of a kick to watch? ;DQuote:

He needs to improve on throwing combos I can assure you would he have done that he would have beaten Arthur.
Mayorga is a bit one dimensional, I will admit. He not fight so well going backward. ;D :'(
