hopkins is a counter guy he waits on you, hes awesome at it like toney but on roy you cant wait and expect to win in his prime, you gotta have something to nullify his speed, a long reach or a great jab, hopkins does not posess either enpough to beat jones, also a fighter with goohead movement side to side a smaller mike tyson, but he has never been seen at those weights

Yeah I agree (although he overestimated his worth a little at that time) but it also says alot about Hopkins that he would rather fight Joppy, Hakkar etc for a few hundred thousand dollars than accept a massive career highest pay day to get revenge on the only man to have beat him (give the debut a swerve ;D) because he wouldn't accept a 40/60 split....he accepted $2.5m to Trinidads $9m
Anyway, obviously it worked out for him in the end earning the $10m for duffing up a little welterweight
