I have talked to Geralds sister Lisa and am aware of the lies and embelishments that happened that night after the cameras were off and he was fighting for his life in the hospital..The truth is Nigel was no were to be found that night he never visited Gerald or his family to this day...
Gerald in his state is doing much better today than what the documentary a few years ago lent to ...Lisa told me he has his wits about him and has his mischiveous personality(In a Good Way)...His sisters love him very much and sacrafice there time for taking care of him..He will never see again but she tells me he is very much aware of what is going on around him...I hope to be out to visit him by the beginning of next year...
THe truth is Nigel is riddled in guilt for what happened to Gerald after the repeated fouls and the state it left Gerald in....Gerald has been asked since then by his sister what he thought about Nigel,,,And his response suprised me..He elluded to the fact that why should we be bitter towards Nigel when he wasn't ....He said he knew what being a fighter entailed and he was willing to accept the consequences...When I heard that it brought a tear to my eye....So I can give a shite what you haters think of Gerald >:mad

Kessler is good...but not a god.
I don't really think that he's YET gained the tools to become an all time great. Again...I say YET.
Up until just recently...he's been fed a steady diet of brow beaters. Since late '03 he's stepped up his opposition & he's done quite well considering. As of now, Kess has roughly 8 defenses of his title under belt thus far...so it's not a stretch to state & suspect that the kid's got some of the goods.
Being a fan of Kessler...I think that some people are a bit too biased when commenting on him...& then some are not...but some people pass judgement without knowing much about him.
Kessler is the real deal...the question is...how will he fair against the upper wing of opponents?
Oddly enough though...I am curious to see how well Jones jr does against Siaca. Could be a good barometer for Kess in a way.

cc bro...I must admit I was shocked..We agree on pretty much everything and I know we respect each other....I am not saying G-man deserved to become a cripple....I was on the karma kick....We have all done some stuff..or we wouldn't be human.....and like you said earlier..who knows what G-MAN might have done had he not been injured....Ali had the opportunity to do something positive while G-MAN didn't....so I will give him the benefit of the doubt in this department....I would also like to apologize for lashing out as well....:)

Yes, that would be a good way to barometer Kessler. I do not think that RJJ is able to stop Siaca even he is now fighting at LHW and that would benefit RJJ as Kessler fought Siaca at SMW

Not so sure how much a difference that it's going to make though.
Siaca's been fighting at 175 for his last 3 or 4 fights. He's knocked the other men in 2 rounds & lost a 12 rounder...& that's just me going off of boxrec.
I aint a fan or follower of Siaca...so I wouldn't know what he's going to bring to the table...but if Jones doesn't stop him...I say that that should give Kess more credibility...but I suppose that's all in how you make those types of comparisons.
The guy moved up after Kess sparked him out & KO'd some limited & worn out opposition judging from the print. Maybe he'll have something for Jones.
We shall see.
