Re: The truth behind Mayweather - Baldomir
Im really looking forward to this, another night sitting up till 4am or whatever, never mind have Alex Arthur domestic action to take us up to the start of the US feed.
Of course Baldo is the underdog by a long way, but he definately has a chance and Id just love him to wip the smile off PBFs face. Im hugely pro-Baldo for this bout!
As has been said PBF will be very mobile and Baldo will have to take a lot of jabs trying to close in on him. He knows that if he doesnt really go for it its an easy points win for Floyd. I dont think PBF can hurt Baldo, so I think it all comes down to how PBF reacts if/when Baldo lands a good 'un on him. Baldo will be pressuring all night, but needs to pace himself.
COME ON BALDOMIR! ;D

Roy jones is twice the man virgil hill and pretty boy floyd are!!
he is in sinc with ray leonard!
roy jones beat the men who beat the men...
And especially in the case of the toney fight...Toney was THE man!
and toney is still the man to beat always!...
roy did just what floyd is doing at the higher end of the weight tables... that is more dangerous..
should have won gold at light middle..
world champ and beat hopkins at middle..
beat the man james toney at super middle..
was undisputed light heavyweight champ for years...
and stepped up all the way to heavyweight to win that title too!!
so how in the hell are you saying virgil hill... who has payed his dues and been at the top for a number of years anyway.... is the same as roy jones....
Re: The truth behind Mayweather - Baldomir
It is totally fucking obvious who will win because Floyd only fights people he knows he can beat. Everyone makes mistakes though and hopefully Baldy will get a lucky punch in and knock chicken arse out on his back.

Anybody willing to bet their house on anything has a serious gambling problem.
...maybe.... unless they had two houses ?! :P
Or unless somebody was going to bet against him say Baldomir is going to win 12-0

I tend to agree with the inititial post. Soon to see if we're right!
It will be a shocker if not.
Re: The truth behind Mayweather - Baldomir
Roy Jones is good but he cannot be rated with Leonard and Hearns and Hagler and Duran. Just on the fact that he did not face a round robin like they did, means he cannot really be proven to be at that level. Oscar Delahoya is more proven then Roy. We know where Oscar stands because of who he beat and who beat him. Roy did not fight the best and it is like Floyd Mayweather. But Roy was better than Floyd I thought. He punched harder and had better defense. he made the stiffs he fought look like stiffs. FLoyd gets hit a little more, yet his handspeed is good. But neither Roy nor Floyd match Sugar Ray Leonard or Thomas Hearns.
